"I'm not trying to sabotage you!"

"Then tell me something useful!"

"I'll show you fucking useful," Blake jumped up from his chair and barrelled over to where Theo was perched on the corner of his desk. Theo caught him by the arms, swinging him down and pinned him face first into the carpet of his office. Blake struggled in the hold, thrashing his body around like a fish out of water but Theo couldn't be moved. The man was like a bulking wall of muscle, built like a bull and just as head strong. It was moments like this where I couldn't picture the same man I loved; the same man who held my hair back for me when I was sick, the one who cradled me in the bath and would whisper dirty things in my ear. This man was an alpha, he held authority and he wasn't to be messed with. Unfortunately for Blake, he wasn't his alpha and that in there supplied the answer to why he was currently on the floor.

"Let go of me you fucker!" he spit out, blowing air from his pink cheeks and chuffing out in indignation. Theo tightened his hold, twisting Blake's arm up towards this head. Blake cried out, moisture gathering in his angry eyes.

"Okay, that's enough, let him go," I stomped my foot and pulled at the back of Theo's shirt. He took a moment to think, giving Blake one last squeeze and stood up. The man rolled over and shook his arms out, cringing in pain before returning to his seat across from the desk and cast his eyes down. I was sick of these boys and their games; we had been here for hours and we still weren't any closer to figuring out where Greyson was or what he was planning. If anything it felt like we were going in circles, following just one step behind them and it was frustrating to say the least. Blake had tailed Greyson for months, following his every move from a distance and that had led him here; once he had got here the trail had gone cold.

"I don't know what to say," Blake shrugged his shoulders, "Greyson spent months with her. They were hiding out in this shack just out of montenberry."

"You keep saying he was with someone, who is she?" Theo calmly replied, thoughtfully rubbing at his jaw. Blake sighed, his shoulders sagging in pain,

"Isabel whatever her name is. She showed up out of nowhere like a drifter and took Greyson with her. I don't know much about her but she has these books; I used to see her with these big, old looking books. Like something from harry potter," he explained. Hmm old books?

"So she could be a witch?" it was more than likely considering Greyson's companion had done some weird spell on me but I was slowly learning that when it came to this world, I didn't have a lot of knowledge.

"It looks like that. She was always reading from the books, she even carried one on her everywhere they went. I think that one is the most important because she wouldn't even put it down for a second,"

"Hmm, we need to find out more about her but I don't know who to ask? Summer, didn't your mother know a witch?" Theo turned his attention back over to me and crossed his arms over his chest.

"Yeah she did but she said she couldn't get a hold of her," I thought about it, mum had mentioned something months back when we were visiting my parents but she hadn't mentioned anything in a long time. Theo nodded his head, exhaling a large sigh and running a tired hand over his eyes.

"We'll have to ask her again, maybe she can talk to her now," we all agreed.

Blake had been brooding ever since our meeting this morning and it was getting on my fucking nerves. The man was like an over grown child, sulking and pouting until the cows came home; if he didn't snap out of this shitty attitude then I was going to do it for him.
