"Okay everybody, we'll split off into six teams," Greyson's voice boomed over the large field, "the aim is to get the other teams flag and bring it to the table here," he pointed to the large hexagon picnic table beside him, "and let me be clear. There will be under NO circumstance, any form of cheating or unfair ganging up on people!"

The crowd broke into an excited murmur, already picking who they wanted on their team; April bounced on her feet, squealing her feelings to life.

"OH, I'm going to go grab Colin. This is so perfect!" She rushed out, skipping over to a less than excited Colin at the back of the group. I crossed my arms, mentally preparing myself for the onslaught that is going to happen. This really doesn't seem like a good idea, not at all. I wouldn't be surprised if the guys took this way too seriously!

"Are you ready to go down, Summer?" Greyson spoke from behind me, slowly stalking towards me, "Because I plan on winning today," I scoffed, how arrogant.

"Nope, I don't think I'm ready," I played along, letting him smirk in triumph, "because I actually plan on winning," I grinned.

"Hmm, is that so? Well I guess we'll just have to see," his hand briefly touched my arm, "see you out there," he muttered with a grin, walking over to his pack and talking in hushed whispers. Well, fine. I can do this, I didn't spend all those hours practicing, just to lose; I was going to rip the flag from his hand and smile as I walked away, with my head held high!

Now all I have to do is find my bloody pack and get this show on the road; Shane was not far from me, talking strategy with some of our pack warriors. His hands were flying all over the place, wildly gesturing.

"...So then, we'll attack from behind and someone just has to run the flag forward," he finished, just as I was approaching. Michael was in the small group, listening intently to his alpha; I pushed my way through the wall of bulging muscle and into the inner circle.

"What's the plan?" I asked, my eyes cruising over the various faces.

"Ah, Summer. Just the girl I was looking for," Shane smirked, not like a cocky smirk but more of an evil one, he even tilted his head down, making his eyes slit into an ominous glare.

"You look possessed," it was all I could think about right now, my brother was truly creepy.

"That's not the point," he snapped, "we need you to be our runner. You're fast and slimy when you need to be. That will work to our advantage; when we attack, I need to you find the flag and take it to home. Okay?" I nodded my head, running over the plan once more in my head.

"Did you call me slimy?" I asked confused; my hands instinctively found my hips, I was not happy.

"Yet another irrelevant point, get you head in the game! We're in it to win it!"

"Idiot," I muttered, shaking my head in complete and utter astonishment, "I can't believe you sometimes."

"Shut up," was his great response; this earned an eye roll from many people in the circle, noob.

"Who wants to be the first teams to go?" Greyson asked, glancing around at the large group of people; the packs looked between one another, no one daring to step forward. I looked over at April, her arm was hooked with Colin's and I'm sure she was never going to let go. She sent me a quick wink, smiling cutely to show me she had already won her prize; that girl she sure something else.

The silence was deafening, like the unspoken challenge was screaming at us to go. Shane stepped forward, taking his plunge into the deep end.

"We'll go," he declared, sending curious eyes around to any challengers. It was Greyson that took it, an excited look bubbling behind his gorgeous blue eyes.
