IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!

I JUST CANT BELIEVE I'M SIXTEEN YEARS OLD TODAY!! AHHH! I STILL FEEL TWELVE THOUGH. THIS IS NOT OKAY.

BUT ANYWAYS - sorry I forgot to take this off caps but oh well - I decided since it is my birthday, I'd update for you guys. Thanks for everyone who votes and comments! I'll go back and dedicate chapters to those people later. And I have another question; should I or should I not post another story called Not The Ideal Mate? If you want to see the summary, comment that you do and the next chapter I will put it at the end!

SO ENJOY!!

oops, I did it again..

......I played with your heart, got lost in the game..

OH BABY, BABY!

Please forgive me, 'tis my birthday after all. ≧∇≦

MY FACE WAS ONE OF shock once I had heard the words come out of Alpha Castor's mouth. I didn't know what to think as they continued to talk. "Yes, this is she," Evelyn says, smiling at her son. "She sung me the lullaby when I was little, so I sung it to you."

I wasn't particularly mad that Evelyn used my song, I was just annoyed that we were still discussing it. I mean, yeah. So what if she sang my song to him? It's not like I was a siren that was luring her to her death. Common sense people.

Er, wolves.

But apparently Alpha Castor wasn't having any of that. "Mom, why didn't you tell me then? Why didn't you tell me about her at least? She is my mate for crying out loud! Couldn't you-"

"Even if she would have told you about me, no one would have known that we were mates," I hiss at the stupid alpha. Just because he didn't know this or that about me, doesn't give him the right to scream at his mother over it. No one would have known the future.

And no one treats Evelyn like that.

I had crossed my arms a long time ago. The scowl on my face was evident and I knew that everyone in the room was tense. I could feel it in the air. But as soon as I had said the last word of my sentence, Alpha Castor turns his head towards me and a small smile makes his lips turn up. I was confused why he was smiling at me when all I had done was hissed at him.

Didn't I disrespect him enough for a scowl?

I finally got annoyed by his sudden happiness and snapped at him. "What? Why do you have that boyish smile plastered onto your face like a lovesick puppy?" my eyebrows were raised and I was expecting an answer.

All the wolf did was give me a cheeky smile back that hid a smirk. "You called us mates."

At his response, all I could do was roll my eyes and sigh out in frustration. "Is that all you really got from that? Are you serious? I swear on everything that's Holy, I will beat the shit out of you Wolfie. I'm getting sick and tired of you "claiming" that I'm yours when I'm so much older than you! I am not yours; you are not mine. There is nothing that will keep me here, especially a lovesick, controlling, arrogant Alpha Wolf." my voice got scarier with each word I said in the last sentence of my small rant.
