WITH THE SPELL GONE AND everyone being so happy (except for a certain wolf), the girls and I found our time to leave after we had met Sara's mate. He was as genuine as Sara had told me before. He was a very good-hearted person who actually cared about others, not like all those other wolves that just care about themselves. Justin was pretty much kissing Sara's ass the entire time we had been at the pack house (besides the first little snip bit when we first came here).

The man was in love with his mate.

Have to love him for it.

"So Justin," Asha was leaning over the counter to look at him. We were all in the kitchen now after the little incident outside. Nissa, Asha, and I were still in our "modern day" clothes since we didn't really have a chance to change once we got into the pack house.

And let me say, the pack house was a total maze.

"Yeah," he took a drink from his water and leaned his back against the sink. Sara was just a few steps away with me, making sandwiches for everyone else.

"What are you to your pack? A Delta, or an Omega?" Justin had a coughing fit. Sara and I were at the end of the counter laughing as Nissa gave a corner of her lips a lift. Asha gave us a look that told us to shut up or she'll turn us into some kind of freaky animal mix that she does, before turning her attention back to a coughing wolf.

Asha could be so clueless at times, it was hilarious for the rest of us.

When Justin was done with his coughing, he looked back at her and gave her a friendly smile. "I'm the Beta of Night Moon." he said and Asha gave him a scrunch of her nose.

"Beta? Isn't that the lowest place in a pack that a werewolf can be?" Asha asked, looking from him to me and I just laughed.

She must have got the order and names of the titles mixed up...

Asha was looking back at me expectantly as I finished up a sandwich. "No Asha. A Beta is the second highest member in a pack. He's like the runner up of the Alpha. He does things to help with and for the pack like the Alpha of the pack. He's highly respected and has authority, just not as much as the Alpha." I explained to her. She looked confused at first, then a look of recognition crossed and she 'oh'ed.

When I went back to making another sandwich, I noticed Justin and Sara looking at me weirdly. "What?" I asked as I finished another peanut butter and jelly. I gave one to Asha that I made and then gave one to Nissa that Sara made. Nissa didn't take the sandwich, and instead, switched it with Asha's. Giving her a weird look, I turned my attention to the two wolves in the room.

"How do you know so much about wolves Ravyn?" Sara asked as she gave a sandwich to her mate and grabbed one herself.

A gave her a smile and replied, "Back when wolves began to mate and arise more, I met a small pack of wolves and I became friends of them," I looked to Nissa and Asha. "This was when the girls and I split up after we were trained by a witch back in the Dark Ages. We had decided to go our own ways to explore and all-"

"Wait wait wait," Justin waved his hand as he moved from the counter. "The Dark Ages? How old are you girls?" Sara smacked him upside his head, grumbling about "never asking a woman her age" and whatnot. The three of us just laughed at her.
