I am so so so sorry that I haven't updated for the past few weeks!! I hope that this chapter males up for it..

I HAD FINALLY FOUND THE perfect costume to wear to the party. The girls were thrilled when they found out what I was going as. It took me a while to actually think of something, but I managed to pull it all off. I had been ecstatic- no elated ever since I woke up from my nap. Half the day has passed away as I finally thought of the perfect dress and accessories to go with the costume I conjured up in my head. I just hoped that no one stole my idea.

I was walking through the kitchen when I saw the little creepy treats for later tonight. There were little skeleton cookies and gravestone cupcakes, even worm-in-dirt pudding. Everything looked scrumptious and I couldn't wait to taste all of it. There were a few cakes that were baked in different themes. One being a witch, another being a vampire. Everything looked beautiful and spooky, just how Halloween is supposed to be.

The punch was red and there was some kind of blue and purple lines in it — I think it's just peeled apart colored licorice —, making it look like blood and veins. The appetizers were little pigs in a blanket, but were made to look like bloody fingers. The pretzel sticks were crafted to look like a witch's broom, almost an exact replica made out of food.

At first, I couldn't believe that Halloween came so fast. It was like it silently snuck up on me and now it's here to say boo! Halloween was the only time of year that I felt satisfied with everything around me. I felt at peace and tranquil. Halloween was the day the girls and I celebrated our lives.

When I was done in the kitchen and looking at the decorations in the house, I walked up to Asha's room - the place were Asha, Nissa, Claire, Sara, and I were going to get dressed. I made my wait up the staircase, feeling as if something wicked was going to happen tonight. I couldn't wait until the party started; it was going to be the best party that I've ever been to - let alone, invited. With a skip in my step, I find that I haven't been this happy since my mother and father taught me my first spell.

And that was a really long time ago.

With a slight knock on the door, I walked into Asha's room and found the four girls rushing to get everything ready with their costumes. Sara and Claire were already dressed and ready to walk down the stairs any moment. Sara was dressed in Asha's green peasant dress with black flats. Asha and Claire had somehow worked a pretty braid into a poofy updo with Sara's blonde hair. Claire was already dressed in what I could only assume was a Dark Fairy costume. She had her red hair big and wavy, framing her face. The dress she wore was white and blue - it was also strapless. She showed us the thigh high heeled boots and the fairy wings. She looked absolutely amazing.

They both did.
