Hey guys! I have posted Not The Ideal Mate and I hope that you guys can check it out. I promise that it'll be better than this one (so if you like this one, your gonna love that one) so don't hesitate to check it out! Now on with the story. 😁

IT SEEMED ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO find Nissa in this place. We had checked the bathrooms and all the rooms around the ballroom, and there was still no sign of her. I was about to go crazy. Asha was being hysteric and Alistair was trying to comfort her. I had no idea where Nissa could be. She didn't like being in the pack house because there were wolves in here and she didn't care for being around them so-

That leaves the forest.

With my dress in my hands, I raced out of the ballroom, leaving most of the people screaming after me for answers. I didn't have the time to slow down and talk to everyone; I needed to find Nissa as soon as possible.

It took me a second to reach the forest since I had to run from the pack house in heels, but I managed. I looked around the dark forest, trying to pick out red from black. I was speed walking while looking around to spot the redheaded witch. She was somewhere out here, I just knew it, but I didn't know where exactly.

My anxiety was settling in and I couldn't think straight. I couldn't lose Nissa. If lost her, I couldn't bare the thought of what I'd do. First, I lost my parents. Then, I almost lost Angel. Third, I lost my love, Lucas. And now, I feel like I'm about to loose my friend, my sister.

I just can't lose Nissa.

I started screaming her name when I couldn't take the silence anymore. The party was yards and yards away. I want going back until I found Nissa and dragged her back to the party myself. I was going to give that stubborn witch an earful when I found her.

When I finally stopped and stood still for a second, I felt my eyes get blurry. I screamed her name once more before I hiccupped and fell to the ground, almost crying my eyes out. I knew something was going to happen tonight, I just didn't know what. I should've listened to my gut feeling when I had the chance to. If I would have done it then, Nissa would probably have been safe with Asha and me.

I felt like it was all my fault.

Just as I was about to let the tears shed, there was a voice. "Ravyn? What are you doing out here?" the voice startled me for a second as I held my breath. It was silk smooth and light - with a hint of sass too.

Looking up, I'm almost brought to tears as I see Nissa in all her vampire glory standing right in front of me. Immediately, I jump up and run to her, engulfing her into a surprising hug. "Nissa!" I almost sobbed into her neck. She slowly wrapped her arms around me and hugged me back.

"Ravyn, what the hell?" she demanded as she held me out at arm's length.

Slowly, I smiled and just stood there, looking at her with pure happiness. "Don't ever do that again! You almost gave Asha and I a heart attack. Why were you even out here Nissa?" I scolded her. My heart was pounding so fast and so hard, I couldn't help but feel nauseated.
