I figured I'd be nice and update for you all since it's Easter. 😊 Happy Easter everyone and enjoy the chapter!

WE HAD BEEN WALKING THROUGH the forest for about a few hours now, and Asha was behind Nissa and I, complaining the whole time. She really was annoying at times. She should be thanking the heavens that I didn't bring my polyjuice with us on this trip.

I could've made a killer silencing potion for that wretched mouth and voice of hers.

Jasper was hanging on around my shoulders as Kyra and Drago were play fighting with each other in front of us. All of us had our brooms enchanted by our own magick and were made into charm bracelets. The potions, spices, and other things we carry when we travel, always go on our bracelets. It's one of the best ways to travel without carrying all our bags.

It's either that or just leave everything at home, and that was not an option with our kind of jobs.

We had rode our brooms to the edge of the territory of Night Moon Pack, not wanting to have the guarding wolves seeing us in the sky, thinking that we were a threat or something harmful towards them. Then, they'd tell their alpha and he or she would try to come to us and "intimidate" us into telling them why we're here and what we want. It would just make such a big mess that we didn't need to deal with.

The woods were actually very calming here and I could see why the wolves of the Night Moon Pack would want to live so far away from civilization. It was very peaceful and beautiful out here. If it wasn't for my duties back in the civilization where we came from, I'd most definitely live out here for the rest of eternity if I could.

It was like my dream house... Only it would be my dream place.

"Ugh, how much longer until we make it to the center and where that huge house is?" Asha whines from behind me. Drago strikes at Kyra once before she "caws" and swoops down and picks up the green reptile with her talons before going up and dropping him down onto the dirt. Jasper just yawns on my shoulders and digs his claws into my skin and takes them out.

"Just a few more miles Asha, and we'll be there," Nissa says in an annoyed voice. It was only the twelfth time Asha had asked that question within the last thirty minutes.

Not that I've been counting or anything.

With a grumbled sigh from the witch with the green hair, I shook my head at her behavior and kept moving on. Soon, we came to a clearing with little sunlight pouring through the tops of the trees surrounding it. Within the time it took Nissa and I to calmly walk towards the fallen logs that had just so happened to be there, Asha was already bursting with squeals at the logs and ran past us and to the brown branches.

Sometimes, I worry about that girl.

When I finally fell onto the log in exhaustion, I took deep breaths and pulled out some water from my cloak. Drinking a small portion of what I had of the water, I breathed in once, feeling refreshed. Nissa was sitting down on a log near me as Asha was practically hugging the log that she was currently laying down on.

I had gave Jasper a few small handfuls of water and he had just sat next to me afterwards. Kyra had found her a spot on a branch on a nearby tree as Drago took to trying to catch some food for him to munch on while he waits for the rest of us to get moving.

There was a steady silence between all of us as we just sat down and relaxed. It was nice to finally get out and enjoy the great outdoors. The last time I had flew was at least a few months ago. Being cooped up in a store that's fairly popular can keep you from your regular classic witch life you so desperately try to hide from others.
