I COULDN'T BELIEVE WHAT I was actually seeing. Could it be true? Could Prince Lucas be standing only a few meters away? I had no idea if I was dreaming or if this all was real, but I knew that the tears that slid down my face were legit.

Lucas's face softens as he sees the tears of happiness leak down my face, probably mistaking them for some other emotion. I so badly want to run to where Lucas is, but I can't. It felt like I could barely stand as I looked at him in all his glory. Instead, I stay in place, next to Castor's wolf, just watching, praying, hoping that this wasn't a dream. I didn't want this to end if it was, in fact, a dream. My heart just couldn't take a harsh joke like that... Not again.

A sudden smile takes hold of Lucas's full lips. "Ravyn," the way he said my name made chills run down my spine. It was crazy to see Lucas here, and not a day over twenty by the looks of it. "I knew I would find you." a grin split his face, making me laugh and smile.

As soon as I could get around Castor's wolf, I ran to Lucas, tears running freely down my face. I laugh and cry happily as Lucas engulfs me in his arms and holds me to his chest like he could possibly loose me if he let go anytime soon. I held onto him until I couldn't breathe right anymore. I didn't care that Nissa was about to kill Kai, or that everyone was looking at me crazy for hugging a stranger. He was no stranger to me at all.

No, definitely not a stranger... I thought ecstatically to myself.

I finally pulled away from him, drying my tears, when I heard Castor's wolf growled at the PDA I was giving towards Lucas. Ignoring the jealous wolf, I smile at my long lost prince. "What- How- This can't be-" Lucas just laughed and laced our hands together as he smiled down at me. "How are you here Lucas?"

He gives me a smirk before saying, "Oh, now you use my name without my title." I couldn't help but blush at the comment. He chuckles and we have a small moment of silence. When he brakes it, he says, "Do these answer your question?"

I give him a puzzled look, not quite sure what he meant by that. Just as I was about to ask what he meant by it, he opens his mouth and out pop two fangs from his pink gums. I gasp and retract my hands from his, putting them over my mouth in shock. I couldn't believe what Lucas was; he didn't deserve the life of them, even if they weren't so horrible after all.

"Lucas, you're a..." I just couldn't say the word with his name. It didn't sound right to me and I just couldn't accept it.

I wouldn't accept it.

He gave me a fangish smile. "Vampire? I know, I couldn't believe they existed myself until I met one," he chuckled, more to himself than me.

I couldn't believe what I saw. Lucas was a... Vampire. It wasn't that I hated vampires or had a grudge against them; I was friends with Kai for example. But never in my wildest dreams would I ever picture Lucas living the life of a vampire. I've always wanted to see Lucas again. To see his face, feel his lips, hold his hands, but I knew it could never happen. It wasn't going to happen. I accepted it.

And when I finally accept it, he shows up, taking my breath away with his shining blue eyes and turned up blond locks.

I couldn't believe it.

I just couldn't.

I swallowed the lump in my throat before I spoke. "Lucas, what do you mean when you said you "met" one?" I was scared to hear what he had to say, but I knew that I needed to hear it. If I didn't, I wouldn't know what to do.
