My head pounded as I walked back to My car.
Dexter whined softly as I neared the car, bowing his head slightly to the side. Sighing I reached down and ran my fingers through his fur.
Off in the near distance I could hear Theo giving directions for the three men to follow us back to my apartment.
I climbed silently in to the car and opened the passenger so dexter could hop in.
I watched through windshield as they all climbed into their separate cars and we headed off.

We pulled into the parking lot and jumped out of our vehicles.
I slid out of the car - way to tired and crabby to care what the newbies were doing- and walked around to the other side of my car, letting out Dexter.
I grabbed his metal leach and strolled toward the doors of the building.
"What the fuck is that!"
The scream diverted Dexter's attention to one of the three newbies.
He growled menacingly at them, bearing his teeth.
I gripped his leach tightly and chuckled, bending down - grabbing Dexter's gaping jaws.
One of the three ran towards me welding a gun.
Before he could reach me, I cooed in Dexter's face causing him to look my way.
The giant dogs growling silenced and he lowered his head to lick my face.
I smiled and stood up - ignoring the shocked faces of the three men.
I pivoted on my heal and lead the group up the stairwell - not caring if they bothered to follow me.

As soon as I reached the apartment, I threw open the door and walked straight to my room. Not bothering to check and see what the others were doing.
I slid to the floor and reached underneath my bed and grabbed my journal.
My journal was defiantly not like the ones you could find in any other teenaged girls room. It wasn't pink - nor did it have pages with guys names circled with hearts.
My journal was a brown leather book, held together with two thick leather straps. Papers and photographs stuck out of the journal messily, because of how full it was.
Getting up off the floor I ambled over to my chair next to the bookcase and plopped down, flipping between the old warn out pages of the journal.
Looks like it's going to be a long night of reading, I thought as my eyes wander seamlessly among the pages.

About an hour later my reading was interrupted by a knock at the door.
By this time there were a number of book sprawled out amongst me, and my eyes were starting to blur with sleepiness.
The door opened, relieving a weary eyed Theo.
Taking one look at the books then at me he shook his head. "Come on Rave- you've been on your .feet all day - I think it's time for some shut eye."
Before he was done talking I was already up and walking towards my closet.
Ignoring his presents, I grab a random shirt and jeans- then heading over to the bathroom.
"I'll be out in a few," my voice is steady and calm. "We'll get this sorted out when I'm done."
Casting him one final look I close the bathroom door - stripping down and climbing in the shower.
I shiver at the feeling of the cold water caressing my back but don't bother heating it up.
I quickly washed my hair and body, hopping out and drying off as fast as I can, then tugging in the pair of jeans and black tank that I had grabbed from the closet.
I pulled my hair up into a messy bun as I walked out the door, grabbing my journal.
