Could someone pinch me. Wake me up from this bad dream. This nightmare. What the hell was this guy thinking. He just asked his girlfriend to leave. Who does that? Oh I know Leonard. Why? Because he's a jerk. You know what, I'm Alexia Curran, but I'd prefer it if you called me Alex. Alexia is just too girly. If I had been able to talk the second that I was born I would have stopped my parents from giving me such a name. Yes! That sounds crazy I know.

Anyway as I was saying, I'm Alex and girls like MacKenzie don't scare me one bit. Sure I was nervous from the conversation that she and I had just had. And maybe I felt bad for what Leonard did but it wasn't my fault right? Maybe they are just having problems in their relationship. Maybe Leonard doesn't want to talk to her after whatever she did. I'm assuming she did something because it's MacKenzie we're talking about. But still Leonard better have a reason for what he had just done,a good one for that matter.

"Don't ever do that again!" I was shouting at him.

"Do what?" Oh so now he's going to pretend he doesn't know what I'm talking about. Classic,real classic.

"Talk to me instead of MacKenzie while she's right there!" I continued shouting. I didn't know this girl that much but from the little that I knew this girl was a bitch. But I had nothing against her. She had never done anything wrong to me so she was cool I guess. And no girl deserved to be treated that way. Damn! I was going soft these days. Something is definitely wrong with me.

"Okay keep your voice down will you? And why can't I do that?" Really did he just ask that?

"Uh I don't know,maybe because she will bite my head off!" I tried to stop yelling but the plan wasn't really working out.

"Why would she try that?" Why on earth is he asking such stupid questions. We both know the answers to his questions. I don't get why I have to answer them. But I did it anyway.

"Because she likes you and doesn't want anyone talking to her boyfriend!" Happy now Leonard?

He chuckled. Then went on full blast, he started laughing so hard that tears started coming out of his eyes. Why he was laughing I really didn't know. I was back to being confused. Wow this seemed to be happening a lot today. He saw the look on my face and stopped laughing for a minute. "She told you I was her boyfriend?" With that his laughter got louder than the first time. Was he high or something? Confused again!

"Look she and I had a thing going but it didn't quite work out." He said,he was out of breath. Wait so MacKenzie lied? No,no,no didn't she just say that they were like together, as in like a couple. I'm pretty sure I heard her right. Didn't she feel stupid because to me this was kind of stupid. Why tell people you're dating someone when you honestly aren't dating that person. And especially when your supposed "boyfriend" reacts the way Leonard just did when he hears about the rumours you're spreading. That's just sad.

"Well it looks like she still wants it to work out." I said.

"But I don't!" Leonard snapped at me.

"Why not? She must really like you if she's even spreading such rumours. Don't judge a book by it's cover." I couldn't believe I was defending her.

"Well when it's a book like MacKenzie, the cover says it all." This time he was a little bit more calm.

"Ouch." Is all I could say. To be honest I think MacKenzie was just digging herself some big ass hole which she might,one day fall into. But I still don't get it though. In most situations the most popular guy and girl of the same status usually ended up together. Leonard snapped me out my thoughts.
