Haven't we all heard that story before...

It has been two good full months now. I figured if I'm going to go to a new school then I'll be a new me. If that makes any sense at all. I made a lot of friends, well most of them are just acquaintances. Just a few are really friends. I'm no longer that girl that keeps to herself. Who knew being a people's person wouldn't be bad after all.

Speaking of friends I'm walking with two of my best friends ,Nancy and Jake. Ew! I never thought I'd ever hear myself say that. Best friends, the word still leaves a weird feeling on my lips whenever I say it. But it doesn't matter because I adore these two. Gosh! What is going on with me.

We're walking to my locker to get my history textbook before we head to the class. "Uh Alex..." Nancy says sounding nervous as ever. "Yeah?" I say surprised by the tone of her voice. "I think you might have some company." Jake and I turn to see who Nancy is talking about.

And there he is. Leonardo. No Lennart. Okay no I think I got it it's Lee, yeah Leonard. Couldn't his parents give him a less fancier name. I mean it would be easier to remember. Not that I need to remember it because I hate his guts. Would you believe after what he did he hasn't come to apologise. I mean who does that?

"What does he want now?" Jake asks. "I don't know and I really don't care. Come on guys let's go before we get late". We turn to go to class." Hey" Leonard shouts but I tell my friends to just ignore him.
"Hey wait up'' he shouts again and unfortunately we have to come to a stop.

" Hey can I talk to you for a sec?" He says to me while panting. "I don't thinks she wants to" Jake grabs my hand and pulls me towards class. "Just for a minute,then I'll be out of your sight" Leonard now sounds like he's begging.

"A minute or second? Come back when your mind is made up" Jake continues pulling me. I look at Nancy who hasn't said a word since Leonard approached us. "Okay fine just a minute" I stop my tracks and look at him. Leonard that is. "Are you sure?" Jake asks. "Look man I'm not gonna kill her." Leonard smiles at his own little joke but sadly no one joins him."it's okay Jake she'll meet us in class" Nancy finally speaks. It takes a little while for Jake to leave but he finally does. And now Leonard and I are just staring at each other.

"What do you want?" I break the silence.

"Alex right?"he asks as if he's unsure.

" yeah "I reply

" I'm Leona...."

I cut him off "just get to the point"

"Okay" he looks surprised but continues "Look I'm sorry, about what happened, I didn't mean to splash you with water,I thought you were someone else."

"Haven't we all heard that story before?" I ask annoyed as ever.

"Well what do you want from me?"

I give him a look. "Nothing! I want nothing from you. I...."

He cuts me off too "Then what do I have to do to fix this?"

I take a deep breath. This guy doesn't have any idea of how much he's pissing me off right now." Nothing, there's nothing to fix, just leave me alone. If you want to "fix" something then just don't talk to me."
