Chapter 17

The next day I woke up and Jimmy was no where to be seen so I thought he would of just went to breakfast.

That was until I found him under the tent we eat breakfast alone and drinking heavily.

" oh my Jimmy please, give me that".

" why should I what have I got left to live for my mum is dead Paige do you know how that feels sitting and watching you mum die".

"No I don't but drinking isn't going to fix things it will just make things worse " I said" and you have nothing to live for what about me what about our future together does that not matter to you".

" don't waste your breathe on him when he is like that just like his father can't think straight " said eve.

" your telling me his dad is just like mine drinks his feelings away and sadly he is just the same ".

I went and sat in the caravan on my own to think. What had I done I fell in love with a guy who was just like my dad but not as bad but that didn't matter. Why would I want to settle down with a guy who drinks his heart out if something bad happens I would ended up like my mum trying to raise a 13 year old , a 6 year old and a new born baby like that wasn't hard enough.  I texted cassie ' sorry I had to run off like that but Jimmy's mum past away and now he is drinking his heart out like my dad did '.

Not long after cassie replied ' I'm so sorry to hear that but if you have to get away just come over cause it's scary enough having to grow up wit your dad like that you don't want that off the guy you love'.

" why do you even love me" said Jimmy stumbling in to the caravan swinging the door open.

" why do you think because your different and special and I can see past your hands but maybe I seen you wrong cause you don't seem like the fun loving guy I first ever met ".

He sat down next to me and tried to hug me i stood up before he could.

" get off me I'm going to cassie's let me know when you sober up cause I'm not coming back till have at least I can leave when it's you I could never do that with my dad I was so vulnerable ".

I slammed the door to the of the caravan shut.

I got in my car and started the long drive to cassie's house. Cassie seen me parking outside and opened her door I walked in.

" I hate him so much I tell him all about my dad and what happened that night he was drunk and how scared I get when guys gets drunk but he goes and gets drunk" I said sitting on the couch crying.

"Wait your Prince Charming turned in to a fire breathing dragon " said Matt.

" no not that bad " I said.

" I new there was something up with him how could he go and do this to you he is meant to love you" said cassie.

" he does love me and we are happy together he just lost his mum and this is how he is handling it he doesn't mean to scare me cause of it ".
