Mixed Blood

Chapter 2

We ran all the way to the graveyard to find the wolf was still alive but had teeth marks in their neck, "Are you ok" I asked her as we got closer but the wolf didn't move an inch she was shaking so I went up to them and put my head under their neck. "Yea...I'm...I'm fine" so I turned human and helped her up "Thank you but what to I do know" she looked at the both of us as her eyes widened I smelled the vampires scent on her "You find the vampire that killed you" she smelled her shirt and just walked off with out saying another word to both Alex and me. "Well how long do you think she'll last" Alex asked me, "I think about a week or so" She looked at me like I was crazy and said "Yea I give her two days." I shook my head and started back to my dad's house to grab my things.

Once back at the house I saw my things were gone and the door was open I guess my dad found my things and put them back inside shit. I walked inside to find my dad was waiting for me, arms crossed, and steaming mad "Hi Zander" I walked past him as he just stared me down and I guess he smelled vampire on me because he started to growl when I walked past him "I'm your father you do not call me by my first name." I rolled my eyes as I walked to my room "Whatever Zander" and I closed the door to find my room was locked once I closed it "Really Zander lock me up again" I tried to open the door but no use it was locked up tight. I could hear him walk away from the door and go into his room so I fell down on my bed and waited for nighttime to come.

The sunset was beautiful but the moon was even more beautiful I put my ear against the door to listen to see if he was asleep. He was, so I grabbed my things and jumped out the window "Wow it took you that long to get out" Midnight said leaning against the wall of his house "Hey you know how my dad is, now lets get out of here and never come back" she got up from where she was at and grabbed my things and put her arm around me. "Now that's a good idea" she kissed my cheek and I couldn't help but blush at her "I hate you" I told her as we walked away from the house "Love you too" she was being funny but she was right I did have a deep crush on her but I won't let my self love her cause of the way I am. I didn't want to hurt her at all and when I was close to her I could feel her heart beat and her warm blood it was so nice. "Hey you ok" shit I'm thinking to much about her blood that my fangs came out "Yea" I held my mouth as I talked "Scarlet come on tell me what's going on" she moved my hand from my mouth and she saw my fang and her eyes widened "Midnight I don't want to hurt you" I grabbed my things from her hand, grew my wings and flew away from her. "I'm sorry Midnight" I felt so bad that I didn't tell her that I was a Mixed blood I'm sure she wouldn't tell anyone ether but I can't be 100% sure. So I flew to Linda's house to sped the night over she always love company over at her library.

Rightbefore I could knock on the door Linda opened the door "So you left your dad,Midnight found out that your half vampire, you want to stay here for the night,and my answer is yes." I smiled and nodded "thanks Linda I don't know where I'd bewithout you" I walked in with my stuff and put them on the couch "You'd be onthe street thinking about the mistakes you made." my eyes narrowed as I lookedback at her "Yes and I should have killed you a long time ago." I growled asshe walked to the kitchen "But I didn't kill you the vampire I was working fordid." I walked with her to the kitchen and noticed it was 3 am I sighed knowingshe was right though she did have a drop of my blood on her vest but that wasit you can tell when a vampire has drunken your blood by the way they actaround you. "Yes that's true now do you have any information in him of me?" shegrabbed a blood bag from the fringe and poked a hole in it "He'll be in Londontomorrow doing some business then he's going here in 3 weeks" My eyes lightedup at the sound that he was going to be here in the next month I mean I'vewaited 2 years just to kill him and now I had my one chance to do it but Lindadidn't look so happy as I did "Scarlet, he's planning on turning more humansand wolfs vampires and to make an army." My heart dropped at that sound an armyis not what we needed right now including that Midnights wolf pack just hadthere breeding season and Luna was just born so all the males would want tostay home to watch over their new born pups. "Linda are you sure that this isgoing on" she nodded yes "He even asked me to bite more people then I usuallydo" Linda bites over 10 people a day and that's more then most vampires can dowith out getting seen but now he wants her to do even more.
