Scarlet pov

They all hissed and growled at me but I didn't care but wolf form isn't the best choice right now I need something stronger. So I turn demonic and screeched at them throwing them all of guard I guess they weren't as brave as they thought. "Leave NOW" they all got scared but they didn't move an inch so I punched one of them and left a scar on their face "LEAVE" I repeated but with more force in my voice and they all left like scared puppies all but the one I scared he turned demonic and screeched at me challenging me. I knew he wanted revenge cause I messed up his face but he didn't look that good any ways, so I took his challenge he came at me with full speed  and got in a good punch I growled but shook it off as a scratched him right in his chest causing him to fall back as blood dripped to the ground I grinned at my work on him but he still wouldn't leave. He stood his ground now you could really see flames in his eyes he was angry at me for what I did to him oh well he's going to get more if he stays. "I won't tell you again leave and never come back" I growled at him trying to give him a chance to leave but he stayed "Fine then" I pounced on him and got to more scratches on him and they were deep he would need stiches he was in a lot of pain. I could tell but I was also feeling very dizzy I hadn't been in this form for this long worst thing was he could tell how I was feeling. "Your weak you know that. Even I can't stay in this form longer then you" I turned back human before I could faint "At least I don't have to worry about any scars unlike you Vampy." I said before I finally fainted onto the ground.

Tod's pov

Midnight and me walked back to camp but Midnight looked a bit sad and worried "Midnight what's up you can talk to me you know" she looked up a bit shock but snapped out of it "I'm just worried for Scarlet I've known her for so long ya know" I could see why Scarlet liked her but I know I'm not her mate cause I could go days without seeing her but if I was her mate I couldn't stand to be without her for a day. "I get you but she's a strong girl I'm sure she can handle herself" she looked a bit confuse shit what'd I say to make her look like that "How can you get me you don't know Scarlet like I do" she was protecting Scarlet like she was hers but I knew Scarlet already had a mate his name was Cole but why was she doing this for her. "Actually I've know her of a long time we went to the same middle school together" there was only two schools so I had a 50 to get this right "yea I didn't meet her till high school" ok high schools I didn't see Midnight at mine so they must have went to

Midsitarhigh that's one of the best high schools you could get into only people with a4 point gpa can get in. "Midsitar High right I would have gone there but I hada 3.4 gpa just my luck right" she giggled a little bit before going back to thesad look "No please don't be sad again I'm sorry if I upset you" I rubbed herhead and picked it up and she smiled. "It's fine she was the best student thereyou know she had only one class then the rest was study hall." I did know shewas smart but not that smart to where she only had one class. "Um no I didn't Imean I know she was smart an all but not that smart" we kept walking andtalking about random things like how she found out Scarlet was a Mixed bloodthen we finally got back to camp and I brought Luca to the hospital room andDoc took care of him with Rue at his side watching him carefully to make surehe wouldn't hurt Luca. I turned back human and walked over to Midnight wantingto know if Scarlet was back yet cause I hadn't seen her "Hey Midnight have youseen Scarlet you'd think she'd be back by now right" she turned and looked atbit worried like me then I saw Cole who looked like he was about to explodewith rage. "You left Scarlet out there with 4 other vampires!" he began to yellat Midnight and I wasn't going to let that happen even though she's not my mateI felt like I had to do something. "She told us to go. She said she could handleit" he growled at me and narrowed his eyes you could tell his inner wolf wastelling him something "Look Cole she told us to go to save Luca now I couldtake you to her if you wanted to" "No it's fine I'll find her my self" then hestormed out of the house and slammed the door close. I guess that's how it is to have a mate to always be worried about them no matter what was going on.
