Chapter 9

Scarlet pov

I woke up in a room with an IV hooked up to me filled up with blood and next to me was Cole asleep in a chair. "Cole" I said my throat dry god how long have I been out for. He stood up looking at me and kissed my forehead "You've been out for two days I was so worried about you" then he hugged me it felt nice to know he was around me again. "Water...please" I choked out he let go of me and grabbed a cup of water that was by the night stand and gave it to me. I drank the whole cup and gave it back to him and smiled "So I passed out cause I didn't have enough blood in me?" he nodded "I also got you back to your pack that's where you are now." My eyes widened to know I was back in my pack "What did they say to you" he put the cup down and turned back to me "Nothing they just growled at me" and he grabbed my hand and rubbed it with his thumb calming me down. "Cole you know once I get out of here I have to mark you right?" He nodded knowing I was right. "I also meet Luca he was a really nice guy he showed me around and everything" I smiled knowing he meet Luca and that Luca knows I have a mate now to watch me and I would watch him. "Ok now get some rest and I'll tell him your awake" I nodded and put my head on the pillow and closed my eyes falling right to sleep.

Cole pov

Of course I didn't want to leave her but I had to tell someone she was awake. I walked outside the room and looked around for Luca trying to find where he was. I walked down the halls of the house it was like a maze so many twist and turns I had no idea where to go. "Hello anybody here" I yelled around the house but nobody answered but I did find the front door. "Ok I'm going outside" I opened the door and found everyone out there but Luca. "Hey Midnight have you seen your brother" "No I haven't why" She crossed her arms and looked at me looking a bit worried "Nothing I just wanted to tell him Scarlet woke up" she uncrossed her arms and looked down "Oh I'll make sure to tell him" she sounded sad for some reason but I didn't want to ask her cause I was kind of afraid of her after all she is the Alpha female she could kick me out if she wanted. "Alright thank you" I turned around to walk back inside but she grabbed my arm and turn me back to look at her "Take care of her alright she did help me keep my little girl" I looked at her confused as to what she was saying so I asked "I had 3 pups but only Luna served they all were going to die but Scarlet saved her just in time" she let go of my arm with a tear in her eye now I was feeling bad for her Scarlet didn't tell Midnight her biggest secret that she was a Mixed blood. "Just don't tell her I still owe her, she thought I paid it off a long time ago but I didn't" I nodded and went back inside the house "CRAP WHICH IS THE WAY BACK TO SCARS ROOM!"
