Mixed Blood

Chapter 21

Scarlet pov

Midnight looked confused for a second then I saw the spark in her eye, she knew what I was talking about.

"Luna got bit by a vampire she's...she's a Mixed Blood now."

"I knew that but where is she" my voice was shaky now.

"She should have been with Doc"

I growled and ran back to the house. I didn't even think about going to Doc to see if she was there or not. I busted though the door, went over to Doc's office, and saw Luna on the bed looking pale.

"Doc is she ok" I went over to the side of the bed looking at my sweet little Luna.

"Her blood isn't going good with the vampire's blood I'm not to sure if she's going to make it"

I sat down on the bed holding her hand gently in mine. It was cold and pale just like the rest of her body. I saw the bite marks on her neck and they looked black not like your everyday bite marks from a vampire. I don't know weather I should bite her or not to get the blood other of her system cause that could hurt her more or it could save her. It was basically a 50, 50 chance it would work for her.

"Hey Doc if I were to bite her and take out the vampire blood do you think it would save her or no?" He looked at me a bit confused that I even asked him that.

"Scarlet I know you want to save her but I don't think that's a good idea this has never happened before so I have no idea how she would react to that." I sighed and rubbed Luna hand with my thumb. Some how I knew he was going to say that but I just had to ask to make sure.

A few hours later

I raised my head up and looked around. Doc wasn't there and Luna was still asleep but the black around her neck got bigger heading down towards her heart. If I was going to do something now was the time to do it. So I bit down on her soft fragile arm and I could feel her soft heart beat pumping. I sucked on her blood drinking only the vampire's blood, which had a rather bitter taste to it, it was like no others blood which I drank before I kind of liked it. I drank the rest of the blood out of Luna and let go of her arm looking at the old bite marks on her neck, which seemed to go back to a normal color.

"Mom" She opened her eyes and looked right at me

"Oh Luna your awake" I hugged her gently and noticed she still had vampire fangs.

"Hey mom what happened I remember fighting then getting knocked to the ground and everything went black?"

"Baby I'm sorry but you'll have to ask your Uncle I wasn't there I was...somewhere else." She looked a bit confused then nodded I guess she remember I wasn't there. But what she said next shocked the hell out of me.
