Chapter 15

Luca pov

I know I shouldn't do this but I had to stay alive for Rue. "You stupid vampire don't you know we wolves have a dark said to us" I let him take control it was the only way I was going to make it out alive. I began to grow I was now over the size of the vampire and my eyes started to glow a light blue my inner wolf just came out the vampire was a little scared but he didn't back down he was determined to drink my blood for some reason. "The reason as to why I want your blood is that I never had wolf blood before" he came at me but I jumped at him knocking him to the ground. I bit down hard on his neck ripping off his head clean of his shoulders and returned back to normal I felt really weak so I dropped the head and fell to the ground.

Rue pov

I woke up and felt something inside of me something strong, something wild, something like a wolf. I sat up holding my headlooking around for Luca I missed him a lot more then I should have it must be this stupid matepull. "Rue are you alright" huh I looked around but saw nobody was there buteverything did look much clearer even the smells around me I could tell someonewas outside my door but i didn't know who. "I'm fine but who are you" I was even growling Iguess this is what it feels like to be a wolf "My name is Rune and I'm yourinner wolf I can either protect you or be your worst nightmare it's yourchoice" I growled again I didn't want this 'Rune' to become my worst nightmarebut I also didn't want her to protect me I could protect my self but protection is better then a nightmare "Fine thenprotect me I don't care but just saying I may not use you a lot" "Fine by me" Igot up feeling a bit shaky and felt something soft behind me I turned around tofind a dark grey, to grey, to a light grey tail. "What the hell" I ran over to a full bodymirror and saw the tail was real not the only new thing I got I also had ears  and not humanears more like wolf ears. "AHHHHH" I screamed I didn't know this would happenor any of this like this inner wolf, tail, ears what's next am I going to turninto a wolf! Someone ran into the room and I didn't know them I growled tryingto protect my self-ready to take out my battle-axe if needed. "Easy Rue I'm notgoing to hurt you I'm the doctor here but you can call me Doc" I stayed thesame still growling one thing I learned from The Boss was to never put your guarddown "Luca will be back shortly he's just on a run nothing to fear. We also haveour best guards on hand should anything happen to you ok" I narrowed my eyes I hatedbeing trapped "who are your best guards" he crossed his arms over his chestlike I should have known who they were "Oh just Midnight, Tod, Fransica, andScarlet" my eyes widen Scarlet was here and there wasn't that many guards alsomost of them were girls I could take them on if I needed to. But I needed to see Scarlet right away she was theonly person I really trusted here "let me see Scarlet right away" I was mated toLuca after all so anyone in the pack had to listen to me I'm not going to usethis all the time but I'm going to use it now just so I can see Scarlet "I'll be sure to get her right away for you but please sit downbefore you hurt your self" he walked out of the room and I just stood there looking at my tail and ears "The Boss is going to kill me"
