Chapter 11

Scarlet pov

We both ran down the stairs and went outside to see what was going on. I smelled the air and smelled vampire I growled but Cole put a hand on my shoulder calming me down "Scarlet look" he pointed at Luca who was protecting something growling at every boy that got near to him and the thing he was protecting. "Come on" I started to push people a side till I got right next to Luca and saw what he was protecting "Rue is that you" I walked even closer and saw it was Rue the girl I meet at the vampire meeting "Starset!" she ran over to me and hugged me so I hugged her back "Starset?" Cole was right beside me and had a confused face on damn it was cute though. "Yea her name Starset right" I looked back at Rue biting my lower lip "Yea about that my real name is Scarlet I told you a fake name just to be safe" her smile faded and I felt bad it's not like I didn't want to tell her my real name I just had to be sure about it. "Rue I really am sorry but let's get you out of this crowd and into the house" I grabbed Rues arm and Cole grabbed Luca protecting us from the other pack members who wanted to kill Rue for the things she has done.

We got inside and Luca closed and locked the house doors. "Ok Scarlet how did you come across my mate" Luca asked now angry at me but Cole stood in between us to make sure Luca wouldn't attack me. "I didn't find her she found me." He started to calm down but was still mad. "She's right Luca I thought she was a mortal and I was going to bite her then she showed me her bite marks then yea" Luca finally calmed down with Rue talking but was still on edge with the door and the pack out side "I just don't know how I'm going to tell them Rue has killed over 3 werewolves from our pack and everyone outside knows it." He sat down on the sofa while Cole and me stayed standing "I'm sure they'll under stand Luca" I told him trying to make him feel better about this but I failed cause he just seemed to get madder. "Luca I don't want to meet them yet either I'm just scared as to wait their going to say" Rue said siting on his lap "Any way I have to mark you before you meet the pack so no one can hurt you" Luca said looking up at her as I looked at Cole "That was my reason to" I told him "We just want to protect the ones we love cause other wise we feel empty with out them" they all looked at me and I felt a bit awkward "Yes ok my dad meet the wrong woman and had sex with her to make me. Long story short my dad wanted the little me but not the teen me but mom wanted all of me. But the court saw my mother as a 'bad' person" I crossed my arms blushing that I just told my life to my mate, my Alpha, and the Alphas mate. "Ok now you know my back story so I'm going to go now" tears filling my eyes again I walk out of the room and to the third story room. I flopped down on the bed not giving a shit of who was watching me cry my eyes out but I did want Cole there to comfort me. 'Cole could you come here please' 'I'm on my way'
