Brendon's POV

You're such an idiot, Brendon. Why would you tell a girl who hates guys that you love her? Sarah stares at me with a shocked expression, and I really can't blame her. Finally she leans in close to me and whispers in my ear, "I know. And in time, I'll love you in the same way, just let it come slowly."

With her face so close to my own, I have to struggle so hard not to kiss her. She pulls her face back and smiles at me. I grab her around the waist and tickle her. "Got you." I laugh.

"Bren! Brendon! Brendon fucking Urie stop right this instant!" Sarah screams as she writhes underneath me.

"I do believe my middle name is actually Boyd, not fucking, but you know," I tease, continuing to tickle her. She slaps at my chest, trying to get me to let go. It won't happen, she's mine now.

"I have to pee! Unless you want me to do that in your bed?" She squeals. I don't really believe she will so I continue to dance my fingers over her skin, but then I feel a warm liquid trickle onto my sheets.

"Holy shit, Sarah!" I laugh and jump off the bed, pulling her with me.
"I told you." She says sheepishly. I walk over to my dresser and pull out a pair of sweats for myself and rummage around for something that will fit Sarah. The only thing I can find are a pair of my old boxers.

"Are these OK for you to sleep in?" I hold up the plaid boxers and she nods, taking them and walking into the bathroom. "Wait, you need a shirt." I remember, just as she's about to close the door.

"Oh! Right." Sarah smiles and I toss her one of my t-shirts. While she changes in the bathroom, I strip my bed and change into my sweat pants. Looks like I'm sleeping on the couch.
I walk down to the basement, where I keep my washer and dryer. I throw half the sheets into the washer and add soap. "Brendon?" I hear Sarah call me from upstairs. "Are you coming to bed?" She asks me, without any implications.

"Well since you peed all over mine, I'm gonna sleep on the couch." I chuckle and walk up to the living room, where she is sitting on the couch.

"No, I can't have you do that for me. The guest bed is a queen size, there's plenty for room for the both of us." She's so sweet. I thought it would make her uncomfortable to sleep in the same bed as me, but if she insists . . .

"OK. Let's go then, m'darling." I smile and she takes my arm.
We get settled into the bed and I turn to switch off the bedside light. "Brendon?" Sarah asks me. I turn to face her in the pitch black.

"Yes, Sarah?" I ask, scooting a little closer, so I can almost make out her figure.

"Will you sing me a lullaby?" She asks. I smile at her outline and find her waist in the darkness. I pull her to me and hug her, stroking her hair as I sing into her ear, ever so softly.

Whether near or far
I am always yours
Any change in time
We are young again

Lay us down
We're in love
Lay us down
We're in love

In these coming years
Many things will change
But the way I feel
Will remain the same

Lay us down
We're in love
Lay us down
We're in love

I noticed that Sarah had fallen asleep about halfway through the song, but I kept singing anyways, just in case she's still listening. I press my lips to her forehead and say, "Good night, sweetheart." She murmurs something in her sleep and I smile.

I fall asleep to the sound of Sarah's steady breathing in my arms. It's so peaceful, I wish she were here every night.
