It was a normal day like any other, I woke up to my mother pulling me out of my bed by my feet. She had the same look she always did when I slept in this late. And then she began her morning speech.

"Luna, if you don't get up early, you won't see the sun rise and you'll miss half the day. In the end you'll be throwing half your life away."

Still groggy I got up yawned and started to get dressed for the day. As I did this she sat down on my bed and waited. No doubt she was up early writing her newest novel. She didn't mind the morning as much as I did. I'm much more of a night owl... too bad I still have a curfew. You know when my parents were my age they were out saving the world. Yet I was confined to one place... Magnolia. Don't get me wrong, I love it here but I want to explore. The only one who has made it out of here is Hikari. It helps that her father is the master and her mother is the She Devil. Both are S Class wizards... not that both mine aren't. Storm's parents are also S Class yet we're always left behind. Ok, I'm lying. I've been out of Magnolia. I've been out alot and so has storm. But they are always easy missions. Go find granny's cat, find my family heirloom, or destroy this vulken. My parents have saved the world countless times. They are apart of Fairytail's strongest team. Then there's me and what am I supposed to do? How do I live up to the Dragneel name?

Just then a little blonde girl came flying in my room.

"MOM!!!"

"Layla, honey, what's wrong"

The little blonde pointed at the door as the pink haired boy walked in. He seemed upset and was soaked in water. I could only imagine what had happened.

"She poured ice cold water on me!" He yelled.

"He threatened to set my hair on fire! Mom do something!"she latched on to my mother as if fearing for her life.

"Kaen Igneel Dragneel! We do not threaten our sisters!"

"But mom, she poured the water on me first." My mother looked mortified, as if she had raised demons for children.

"Layla, why would you do that?"

"He wouldn't get up and you said we we're going to get everyone up."

"Layla, you are twelve now. You are plenty old enough to understand why this is wrong" at this point in time I found that it was important to interject.

"Come on mom, it's funny." As I spoke I got shot a look that could probably kill.

"I need you all to do me one favor. Get dressed, some of you dry off, and head down to the guild hall. Luna you are the oldest. I'm putting you in charge." We all nodded as she walked to the the door. "Good, now if you excuse me I need to wake your father up." Layla giggled as mom left, that is until she saw Kaen walking toward her.

"Get dressed!" I yelled as they ran down the hallway. Gosh they're such children. Kaen is 14 and Layla 12, yet they still don't take our missions seriously. But that would change, it would all change, and it wouldn't take long at all.
