Logan's pov

I paced back and forth in my room. It'd been three days since the tryouts and no calls. None.

"Quit pacing, your creating a draft!" My older brother and roommate, Reese, yelled from downstairs. I could only roll my eyes. He knew how important this call was for me, so he tried his best to make it hell.

"Oh shut up-" I was cut off by the sound of our phone ringing. Speak of the devil.

"Oh Logy! The phones ringing. I think its for you." Reese sang walking into my room, phone in hand.  As quickly as my metal legs could allow I ran forward and snatched the phone from his hand.

Taking a quick breathe to calm myself I answered the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hi, is this Logan speaking?" I immediately recognized the voice as Hoppo's.

"Yes." I said nervousness clearly evident in my voice.

"You made the lifeguard team! Your first shift is next Sunday. Be there at 6:00 am sharp."

"Yup. Will definatley be there." With that the phone call ended. I turned to face my brother, who was waiting with bated breathe in the doorway, and gave a fake frown.

"...I-I AM NOW A BONDI LIFEGUARD TRAINEE!"
