You felt a wave of relief wash over you as the plane landed. You were so tired of sitting and being around strange people that you didn't even know in a stuffy plane cabin. You quickly grabbed your carry-on luggage and made a hasty exit, walking into the airport and trying to regain the feeling in your legs.

When you arrived back inside the airport, you went over to the luggage carousel to grab the single suitcase you'd taken with you on your business trip. You'd been gone for two weeks and you wanted nothing more than to get home and cuddle with your boyfriend.

As you stood there, waiting for your suitcase, you noticed a familiar face nearby and realized that your boyfriend was approaching you with a bunch of flowers. Your face lit up upon seeing him, and you wrapped your arms around his neck tightly as he scooped you up in his arms and gave you a warm hug.

"I missed you so much," you told him as you ran your hand through his messy hair.

"I missed you too," Kuroo responded before planting a kiss on your lips, making you blush. When the two of you pulled away, he reached onto the carousel and grabbed your suitcase before it got carried away.

"Let's go home," you suggested with a smile, thanking him as you took the flowers that he'd gotten for you. The two of you walked out of the airport hand in hand, and you felt an overwhelming sense of joy and relief now that your trip was over and you were back with Kuroo. When you noticed that he was leading you down the sidewalk and away from the parking lot, however, you started to become suspicious. "Tetsurou, where's the car?" you asked.

"See, there's something I have to tell you..." he began, taking his hand out of yours for a moment to sheepishly rub the back of his head, "There was a bit of an issue with the plumbing in our apartment, as well as our neighbors', so they had to stick us in a hotel for the time being. It shouldn't take that long to fix, hopefully."

Hearing his words made your heart sink slightly. You were really looking forward to going back to your apartment and resting up. Hopefully the hotel was nice.

"The hotel is right down the street so I didn't want to drive here since I thought it might be kind of a waste..." Kuroo continued. His normally calm and mischievous features suddenly took on a regretful and apologetic look as he looked down at you. "I'm sorry I can't take you home, (f/n). You were probably really looking forward to that."

As you looked up at him, you realized that you didn't care where you were or what you were doing as long as you were with him. He was what made your apartment a home for you. Without him, it would be empty and lonely, as it probably had been during these days without you there.

"It's okay, Tetsurou," you assured him as you laced your fingers in between his and smiled, "because my home is wherever you are."

Bonus ending!

"I already got everything prepared," Kuroo told you as the two of you made your way into the empty elevator inside the hotel, which wasn't half bad.

"What are you talking about?" you wondered, feeling suspicious. He was always up to mischief.

"Just because we're not at the apartment, doesn't mean I still don't want to celebrate you coming back," he elaborated as he pressed the button to go to the floor your room was on. You gave him an expectant look and he continued, "I was thinking we could just get some romantic mood lighting going on and maybe some music playing while we have s—"

"Did you bring food?" you asked, cutting him off before he could even finish that thought.

His eyes moved around the small elevator that you stood in together as he shrugged. "I don't think so. Didn't you get food on the plane?"

"Yeah, but it sucked. I want real food," you demanded.

"Babe, can you just hold off on the food until after we—"

"No. I'm hungry," you interjected as the doors opened and you walked outside.

"(F/n)!" he whined as he pulled out the keycard and approached the door to your hotel room that you were now sharing, "We can order some champagne and—"

"I want food. Don't you have that pizza delivery place on speed dial?"

He sighed loudly and opened the door to your room, carting your suitcase inside. Once you'd set everything down and breathed in the sweet smell of hotel room—with the addition of Kuroo's lovely cologne—you reached for your phone to order food of some sort.

"Come on, (f/n)," Kuroo goaded, taking your phone out of your hands and placing his hands on your waist as he tried to gently push you towards the bed.

"You're not getting any of this until you get me some damn food, Tetsurou."

In an instant, his phone was in his hand and he was calling the pizza restaurant nearby.

"What kind of pizza do you want?"

A/n: Kuroo is so determined to get some he will do whatever it takes to please his annoyed bae, even if it means putting food first. Haha also p.s. Kuroo tried to cook and kind of broke the microwave, but he wasn't going to tell you about it until you were in a good mood. All he wanted was some mac and cheese...
