Talkative

You sat quietly in the library of your school, reading through your science textbook and taking notes for your homework. You liked to come to the library after school while Kuroo was at practice to do your homework. You were a diligent worker, but you needed a quiet place so that you could focus, which was why you loved the library so much.

You were so busy with your note taking that you didn't notice your slightly sweaty boyfriend sit down next to you until he wrapped an arm around you. "Oh, look at little (f/n), studying away," he purred, making you jump slightly.

"T-Tetsurou!" you hissed as he moved his lips close to your ear, "Keep it down. You're being too loud." You pressed a finger against his lips and pushed him away before returning to your work.

You heard him chuckle slightly, and you let out an exasperated sigh. "Your face looks so cute when you're focused," he commented, poking your cheek, "You missed an amazing practice today, if I do say so myself."

You grumbled as he started talking to you, telling you about how his practice had gone. At any other time in any other place, you would've been happy to hear about it. But now, while you were in a quiet place, trying to concentrate on your work, you didn't appreciate him running his mouth.

"Thanks a lot, Tetsurou!" you growled and crossed your arms in front of your chest as you walked away from him angrily. All of his excessive talking had gotten the two of you kicked out of the library. Originally, the librarian was only going to kick him out, but he refused to leave without you, so out you went as well. Now, you were pissed.

"It's not my fault that the crusty old librarian is crabby all the time! She needs to retire," he huffed in return and brushed his messy black hair out of his face. He jogged to catch up to you and grabbed your arm, which you yanked away from him as you turned to face him. "Listen, I'm sorry, (f/n). If you want, you can come over to my place and study with me. It's quiet at my house right now," he offered, feeling a bit guilty.

You sighed softly and let down your guard slightly at his offer. You knew he meant well, but your study dates with him usually involved a lot less studying and lot more kissing. "Only if you don't distract me," you bargained with him.

"Eh, I can't guarantee anything. You might be distracted by my sheer presence," he said with a smirk. You growled and he flinched slightly before putting his hands on your shoulders. "Okay, okay, no distractions. When we get to my house, I'll make you some tea and get out of your way. How about that?"

You pondered the idea for a moment, rolling a small rock around underneath your shoe. "I mean, we can still sit together and cuddle and all that stuff..." you muttered, your face flushing with embarrassment as you looked down at the ground.

"Alright, it's a deal, then," he announced, picking up your textbooks and carrying them for you. You lifted your head and smiled at his kind gesture as he pressed a kiss against the side of your head before the two of you made your way to his house.

You loved Kuroo, but you had to admit that he could be quite the character sometimes.
