Fame or Love

Remember this?

Jai has been in hospital for two days, I haven't seen him since the day he got admitted. I've been busy finishing with an upcoming movie, "New Years Eve". Honestly I have recently been using my movie as an excuse to avoid Jai, he's called me twice but told me it was by accident. I got a call from Alana yesterday, she went on about how Jai wanted to see me today... is it weird that I didn't really want to face him... that isn't weird, that's so rude of me. I finished up rehearsals and got a ride to the hospital, my breaths got deeper as I got closer to Jai's room, why was I so nervous. Every step I took the weight of my shoulders felt heavier and heavier... it's now or never. I stepped into the room where Jai was flicking through something on his phone. I shut the door as softly as I could.

Jai's head shot up, he smiled, "Revon... you came".

"Yeah I did", I breathed out placing my bag on a small table.

"You've been avoiding me", Jai gulped looking at his phone.

"What? No I haven't... why would you say that", I quivered.

"I don't know you but I can tell that you're avoiding me", Jai looked up at me. "Anyway I wanted you to tell me about these past few years. Since I seem to spend a lot of time with you".

"Oh... yes... of course", I smiled as I sat beside him. "What would you like to know?"

"Well. What 'was' our relationship like? Considering we're not together anymore" He contemplated.

I sighed and then threw on a smile, "Well we were really good, we've had a few obstacles along the way but we've always found a way back to each other".

"Ok... I'm sorry, I still remember being in love with Megan", he coughed.

"Yeah... how did you know my name? I mean you still remember being with Megan so how do you know me?", I asked out of curiosity.

"I remember seeing your audition for X factor, you're really talented. You still look the same", he chuckled.

I blushed like crazy and giggled, "Well it's good to know I still look like a 13 year old".

"You're really nice and sweet, I want to get to know you more. Since I forgot all about you", he squinted.

"Yeah, we could become friends again", I replied.

"The very best of friends", he laughed.

This was nice, but I still missed his kisses, his hugs, the sweet conversations. I feel like I don't even know him... I have to try and get him to remember, oh my god I sound so selfish.

"I should be getting out today... they gave some meds though. I thought maybe you could take me around", Jai blissfully sighed as he looked out the window.

"Yeah, of course I will", I slightly smiled as I helped him get ready to leave.

Jai took a while to get ready, I decided to take him to starbucks, we met Adelaide there. I waited for Jai to finish changing, after half an hour of waiting I heard a loud thud just opposite the room door. Jai walked out of the bathroom, he had a red v-neck shirt, dark blue denim jeans and white converses. His hair was flexed upwards while his muscles stood out and flashed me his quirky smile. My eyes were glued to his muscles, I felt a bit like a creep.

"Is there something wrong with my outfit?" Jai suddenly asked looking around himself.

"Oh no no, it's perfect.... I just never knew you had this outfit", I choked looking away.

"Haha you're too cute", he chuckled whilst he grabbed his bags to take away.

I couldn't help but blush, he seemed like himself.
