Ryan's Bday

Today is amazing, I get to see my little baby Ryan, it's his B'day today, it's Charlotte's too but she is no longer with us. I love dogs so much, I'm going to adopt a lot more soon haha.

I walked to the cupboard and poured my cereal into a bowl followed by the milk, I ate quietly until Jai came down with a small gift bag.

"What's that?" I questioned.

"Oh it's a gift for Ryan", Jai smiled.

"Oh haha, how sweet", I laughed. "Care to tell me what it is'.

"No can do, you will see it when Ryan arrives", he replied.

"But he's my baby, I have to know what it is in case he doesn't like it", I pouted.

"Nope, nice try but I can't let that happen", Jai smiled leaving the kitchen... along with the gift.

Who cares about that gift, it just better make Ryan happy. Anyway I was really excited because on the 28th Jai and I were adopting Adelaide.
Whoo hoo.

So I made sure I got everything ready, I got a doggy bed set up. I even asked Jai to come and buy some doggy food and stuff with me. I hurried Jai up, and we soon left for the shops.

"Oh how about this, it's pretty close to smackos, obviously not as good because smackos is australian but it's quite close", Jai smiled.

"Yeah haha, I hope it's close to nth real thing", I replied popping the packet into the basket.

"Your dog is coming too right?" I questioned Jai.

"Yep", Jai smiled. "We can have a mini dogs party".

We bought a ton of things, I also had a Tom of things to do, I had to make a birthday cake and put up decorations... I know crazy... I'm doing all this for a dog. Well why not, I do love him more than anyone in the world, aside from Jai and my family. I called a bunch of friends and family to help out.

Once the house was decorated I got a message from my mum saying that they were walking towards the door. We got into places and surprised Ryan as he walked through the door. He straight away ran to Jai, locking him and squelch with joy. To be honest I felt kind of jealous.

"Don't worry about it", Jai smiled as we joined me on the couch.

"I wasn't worrying", I said.

"It was a one time thing I'm pretty sure, he'll be back to you in no time", Jai kissed my cheek and got up to serve food for me.

I know he was just trying to help but I did feel quite neglected. I should just set that aside and be happy for Ryan turning 8.

Once everyone had left it was time to open Ryan's gifts. The party wasn't that big so he only had a few gifts. I opened up my mother's and brothers and sites one first. It was a new brush and shampoo... plus a new leash.
Second was mine.

"Oh my gosh, you got like friendship collars for your dog and mine", Jai smiled.

"Yeah... I know he misses Charlotte but I think our babies hit it off last time, they're like best buds", I tear up.

Jai quickly comforts me, he grabbed his gift and handed it to me to open.

"This gift isn't just for Ryan... but for you as well", Jai kissed my cheek.

I smiled and slowly opened the gift, I started to tear up again... this time I couldn't stop.

"How did you find this?" I questioned looking at Jai.

"I had to do some digging from your old phone, the pictures that were lost... I found this", Jai grinned.

"I miss this, thanks so much for the picture... Charlotte, Ryan and lucky old me. I love you so much", I giggled.

"I love you more", he kissed me.

"I love you most", he said.

We all spent the rest of the night playing with the dogs and enjoying life.
