Fame or Love

Christmas shopping...

Today was not going to be a good day, I could just feel it. Or maybe it's all in my head, yes I'm going Christmas shopping... but I'm taking Jai with me because he suggested that he came along. I still don't exactly know what Jai wants, I mean he said he wants to remember but does that mean he might want us to get back together later or not at all. It's hard to read him sometimes. I picked out my clothes, I put on red skinny jeans, a black tank top, jeans jacket, black converses and a blue cap. I added some make up just to feel good about myself. I grabbed my money and phone and rushed downstairs.

"Mum I'm going Christmas shopping with Jai ", I called out.

My mum came walking out of the kitchen and replied, "Ok... be back soon".

I walked out the door raced to the park nearby, Jai said he would meet here by 9, it is now 10 past. I walk over to the playground and sit on one of the swings, lucky no one was around. I suddenly hear a honk, I look to the road and watch as Jai's car pulls up. What the hell?

"Hey beautiful, care for a ride?" Jai smirked.

"You're driving, but you don't know how to", I answered still shocked.

"It's surprising how much my brain remembers, it feels so natural", Jai smiled uncontrollably. "Meaning there's a chance that I could get some of my memories back".

"That's amazing, last time we went shopping together it was for Halloween", I laughed getting in the car.

"Interesting", Jai chuckled.

To be honest I was worried at first with Jai's driving but it began to feel normal again. He put the music up loud and we sang our hearts out. It was amazing and completley out of this world. We soon arrived at the shops and we got out and began shopping. Jai needed to buy just a few decorations for his penthouse, he also agreed to help me with decorating my house...

"This tree would be amazing", Jai pointed to a black microfiber tree.

"Haha yeah, we've never had a black christmas tree. My mum would never allow it", I pouted.

"Well we got quite a lot of decorations, hmm how about we get the nativity set that your mum wanted", Jai grinned.

"Oh yeah, I forgot... we could get a coloured glass set", I giggled.

We walked to the register to pay for everything from this store. Our trolley was full of Christmas stuff, once we had payed we set off to find the coloured glass set. We found the perfect set and we had to buy it, once that was also checked off the list all we needed was the two trees. We walked out of the shops and started loading our things into the car.

A lady walked up to us and smiled, " What a lovely couple, you guys are, so young. Newly weds?"

"Oh no no no, we're not together", I choked looking over to Jai.

"Yeah..... we're just f-friends", Jai stuttered.

The lady replied, " Wait, you're Revon and Jai, you guys are legit most popular couple goals for next year. How are you not together?"

Jai looked over to me and smiled," I mean we are together but we aren't married obviously".

"Oh ok haha, sorry you guys just look like the married couple everyone wants to be", she answered.
