Fame or Love

Christmas day

I am so excited, I'm so tired though haha I mean we did go to midnight mass at the church but oh well. I got up at about 10:30, the party was at 1 so we had and 2 hours and a half to get ready. I got dressed into a colourful poka dot dress with a white cardigan and white stilettos. I did my make up and added earings, necklace and rings. Once I was read it was 12:10, now I have to wait for my mum to get ready.... as always. I put all the gifts under our Christmas tree and set out the food. Today I  agreed for Nolan to dress up as Santa, I know how weird.... I mean no one else wanted to be Santa and he volunteered. My sister knows that he's Santa since he's been around a lot, however the rest of my family won't know him so I told Angel to keep it a secret. We're also having carols, I've picked certain people to sing songs to everyone..... kind of like carols by candlelight but with only three famous people and yes Nolan is singing too. He's only singing one song and it's with me, he's actually pretty good. I'm singing a duet with Jai and 2 songs on my own. Jai is singing 1 song on his own. Everyone else is singing one song. I really like this idea, having our own carols by candlelight..... without the candlelight haha.

"Revon, hey...... wow", Jai stopped walking into the main hall where I was. "You look...... amazing".

I blushed and replied, " Thank you".

"Anyway I was just wondering whether you'd like to rehearse the holiday medley", Jai smiled.

"Yeah sure, let's go rehearse", I giggled.

We sat down by the tree and practiced the song, I love this medley. Once it was 1 everyone started coming, the house filled quickly. I placed everyone's gift under the tree and we waited for.... uh.... Santa. Once I got a text from Nolan saying that he was outside I let all the kids know, my sister giggled uncontrollably...... it was kind of creepy. I went outside and met up with Nolan.

"You ready?" I laughed.

"Yeah sure haha", he replied leaning for a kiss.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and broke apart.

"The beard is in the way", I pouted.

"Ok, well do this again once I'm out of this suit", Nolan laughed.

"Revon! Why you kissing Santa?" My little cousin yelled.

Shit...

We walked up to the door and everyone stared at me.

"Revon...... you can't just kiss Santa", my uncle joked.

"They weren't kissing! They were hugging", Angel called out.

Oh my god this is awkward.

"Yeah. They are old friends right..... they haven't seen each other in a year", Jai reassured nodding at me.

I mouthed thank you, he mouthed back you're welcome. Once that was cleared up we started on handing out the gifts, I was Santa's helper..... great. I couldn't wait for Nolan to get out of this costume Soni can just kiss his face and not worry about it. Lol what the hell is wrong with me. We handed out all the gifts, after everyone literally tore alert everything. It was nice though, all the kids were very happy.

"Alright guys, Santa has to go now", I pouted motioning for Nolan to get up.

"Uh yeah, ho ho ho", Nolan spoke in a deep voice and left.

I couldn't help but giggle at his attempt on Santa's voice. He went to his car and got changed, I waited for gin to finish and come out.

"I'm free", Nolan smirked picking me up and swinging me around.

I smiled back gave him a small kiss and walked him inside, again since know one knew him I introduced to everyone which was also really awkward once the adults put the pieces together. I walked up to my friends and gave them all a massive hug.

"So, kissing Santa huh?" Sandra laughed.

"Yeah, big mistake haha", I giggled.

"Love the gifts by the way', Jessica and Irusha said in unison.

It was time to open my gift, my dad sent a gift to me, he got me a loop machine omg. Nolan gave me jewellery, I gave him a piano..... I know I feel weird. Next was Jai's gift, I gave him another guitar...... he got me Ariana Grande's perfume pack omg I've been looking all over for this but stores never had them. I was so happy. This has to be the best Christmas I've ever had.

"Revon!" Someone called from behind.

"Oh my gosh, Sahan. I haven't seen you in ages", I replied hugging my cousin.

"Like the gift, can't beat the birthday gift you gave me", he smiled.

"Yeah I know, Victoria Justice with anything is the perfect gift for you", I laughed.

My cousin absaloutly loves Victoria justice if you haven't noticed haha. He's 2 years younger than her but they would be so cute together honestly. After everyone had eaten lunch we started the carols.

"Revon, I don't think it's fair that you, Jai and Nolan sing...... we have no chance of winning", one of aunty's called out.

"It's not a competition, it's everyone sharing the Christmas spirit", I reassured.

First was one of my little cousins, she sang silent night. Everyone else went on..... it was so nice..... I loved it.

"Yay, now the last song will be a duet from Jai and I. We're singing a Christmas medley", I cheered calling Jai back into the stage.

I readjusted my mic and amp. We both got into position and I started the song. I sang and watched as everyone cheered and smiled with joy, I'm glad that everyone is happy. Mission accomplished.
