Test Of Courage

After he received the order, the scribe walked to the city square, where the Statue of King Quintin, the First has been standing. The square was surrounded with green bermuda with flowers on the bermuda. The square is also surrounded with trees and plants and some pottering plants on each corner of the square.

He stood at the top of the concrete bench, with no backrest. He rolled the scroll open and looked at the crowd who are walking towards their destination.

"Here ye, here ye!" the squire announced to the crowd that he immediately attracted the crowd's attention.

The crowd immediately circled him around and listened to the squire's words.

     "The king has announced a tournament,
       A tournament for a test of searching,
       For the one on the books,
       To search for the person who is just.

       The tournament game starts at ten,
       Tomorrow, around the coliseum,
       The test is about courage and strength
       To know the hero of the kingdom.

       All are welcome, all can see,
       The three-part test is to be,
       Be humble, be glorified,
       For the test undignified."

I walked to the marketplace when I heard the announcement. So I walked to the square and listened the whole announcement of the tournament. Then I walked out from the tournament and decided to go to the tournament to participate the said tournament. I walked to the marketplace and bought a good place to make myself shelter and I also bought some bread and some food ingredients from the marketplace.

The next day, the crowd immediately sat on their seats on the open coliseum and cheered as they watch at the contest. The dragons are brought out but they're all bound with chains. As what the king said, they're so mean, rough, fierce and they're fire-breathing. One of them has the ability to release lightning and is so fast, but the management let the contestants to compete the lightning-breathing dragon at the end of the contest.

King Mortheus and Princess Victorious are also watching the contest. They have to witness the contest for themselves to justify or to decide who will be the champion of the kingdom. They sat on their thrones at the shaded bungaloo at the top of the coliseum, near the entrance at the third floor. They also have their own maids and guards on their side and the maids prepared some fruits, food and wine for the occasion.

There are thirteen contestants who joined the said contest and they wore their nicest and hardest armor on their bodies. Some wore their metal plating armors, some have deadly weapons and some have their own fancy staffs and their magical incantations on their sleeves. They faced the dragons one by one but they've got injured and some of them have been burned. Some of them are still alive but their bodies have been wounded and almost skewed.

I'll just add up three contstants on this tournament. The first one of the contestant is said to be the greatest hero from the land of Ravenhill. His name is Attilicus Maximus, a thirty-year-old man, with about six feet tall. He wears his silver plated armor made of thick silver, silver leggings also made of silver, armbands with a emblem of the kingdom where he came, has a heavy knight sword as his weapon, and a heavy shield that also has the emblem of his kingdom.

The knight walked inside the arena floor and looked at the dragons. He noticed that they're happy to see him as their own food and he's ready to take the dragons. He ran towards the dragons, jumped higher when he saw one of the dragons whips its tail towards him, and tried thrusting the tip of his sharp sword to the head of blue dragon. But he's been bitten by the red dragon, causing him to release his sword. The dragons cut him in half and ate his own body. They even drooled out the armor the knight have.

The next player or the second contestant is known as Rahkman from the land of Himehasan Hills beyond the third mountain far from the Kingdom of Exphoria. He uses his wooden staff on this tournament as his weapon and uses incantations and magic to kill the dragons and the orc himself. The man wears a red robe with red hood, white shole around his neck, and a necklace made of green emerald and silver chain made of diamonds. The man is about five feet tall, weighs of about two hundred pounds, wears his wooden sandals on his feet and white beard covered his own chin.

The spellcaster immediately did some his magic tricks on the dragons and also threw some continuous blazing on the dragons. When the blue dragon intentionally drove towards his side, the enchanter immediately do some earth tricks to make himselfe invulnerable to the raging dragon. He and the red dragon still blazed some fire to each other, causing the tournament to awe some crowd. Three minutes later, Rahkman's staff started to break and the wizard became powerless, causing him to die burning with the red dragon's blazing fire.

The third contestant is an assassin who was raised from the slumbers of the Kingdom Exphoria. Her name is Ran Windlash, a terrible bandit who uses her speed, dexterity, and agility in doing his crimes like murder and stealing goods. She's been raised in the slumbers of the kingdom, with a father that has been rasing her to become an assassin who can kill the princess. But whenever she attempts to kill the king and his daughter, Ran can't get away from the soldiers and threw her on the dungeons.

And this time, the terrible Ran WIndlash became one of the participants of the tournament. The management of the tournament thought that, with her abilities, Ran will be the one who has been said with the prophecy. Ran wears her brown breast armor, red shole around her neck, brown leather leggings, bandaged feet inside his ninja sandals, and her blue mouth mask to cover herself. Ran has a golden long hair, blue eyes, white complexion, slim body and arms, and standing of about five-four.

Ran entered the arena with courage and fear, like the other contestants who entered the said tournament. She has her two dagger with black-bladed gold-and-black crisscross diamonds on the handle and she's ready for the fight. She ran towards the crowd, looking at the dragons so proudly. She jumped towards the crowd and landed herself on the top of the wall of the first step bleacher, with her hands on sides.

The red dragon just whipped its tail towards Ran but Ran just jumped in the air, landed on the top of the top tail and ran towards the dragon's tail's other end and jumped towards the head of the dragon. When she reached the top of the red dragon's head, Ran jumped in the air, like she's in the edge of the cliff, and went disappeared. When they see the assassin disappeared from the head of the dragon, the king's guards immediately searched the entire coliseum for the escaping Ran Windlash.

I walked out from the coliseum, to the center of the coliseum, and decided to take the my golden staff from the cloth. Then the dragons accidentally cut out from the chains and immediately ran towards me when their chains are melted as the tournment goes on. They fired some breaths on me and they also flew towards me. I looked at the dragons and noticed they're charging at me so I positioned myself to start the rampage. The crowd looked at me and noticed I didn't move or run and they just awed at me.

I charged up some of the lightning spark to my staff and the staff glowed with the lightning. When they saw the lightning on my staff, King Mortheus and Princess Victorious widened their eyes and immediately saw that I am the one who has been said on the prophecy.

"Is he the one?" the people around the coliseum asked each other. "Is he the one who will save us from Darkness?"

I channeled the current from the staff towards my hand and immediately channeled it to my feet, to give me lightning speed on my legs. Then I started to run as fast as I could and suddenly vanished in the air. I revealed myself when I reached the bodies of the dragons that are started to fly towards the crowd.

I stomped the first dragon's body a couple times, vanished in mid-air and took a large stomp on its head towards the ground when the dragon has been wiggled by the combination that I just did on it. I stopped moving in the air and let the drsgon hit on the ground. The first dragon, which is the red one and a fire-breathing one, went unconcious and slept on the ground after it hits the grounds

I fell on the ground and landed on the ground with my feet closed it after the red dragon passed out. I looked at the other dragons and noticed they looked angry at me. The green one, that also breathes fire, fired a continuous blaze of fire towards me. So I held the staff on the middle with my hands and twirled it around, until the staff became invisible. When the blaze hits the staff, the blaze didn't hit or burned me due to the rapid circulation I did to the staff. When the blaze ends, the staff glowed fire and immediately took away the fire from itself.

I looked again at the dragon and noticed they're standing next to each other, standing close to each other. So I decided to go with a normal battering attack without the aid of lightning, with great speed and a matching bruise attack on the dragons. Then I took a higher jump, vanished in mid-air, took a large and painful hit on the left dragon's lower abdomen using the staff, bounced myself and took a large and painful blow on the next dragon, and bounced back to the green dragon with great speed---- like a ping-pong ball battering on the two rackets.
