Lady Victorious, Ran, And Me

A moment of silence came around us. Then Avan decided.

"What do you want me to do?" she asked at me.

"Summon your domain and all our friendly animal allies to east of Exphoria on the day of the battle." I suggested to the white magician.

The witch looked at me, kneeled down on one knee, and bowed her head towards me.

"I will, sire." she said at me.

I started to make some lightning spark on my hands and immediately turned my head to the white witch.

"I will be expecting you on the day of the battle." I said to the white witch.

Then I flew out from the cave through the entrance and flew down the mountain. I landed on my horse's front, stopped the lightning, and rode back to Yesterwood for the departure. I looked at my wristwatch and noticed it's almost three in the morning and dawn started to rise. I reached the gates of Yesterwood at around five-thirty and immediately walked inside Lady Victorious's chambers.

I reached the chambers and noticed my Lady Victorious wasn't there. I walked around the town and still I didn't find her. I walked to the entrance gates and saw her at the balcony at the second floor of the gates. I flew there and hugged her around my arms.

"I'm back," I smiled at her. "like what I said earlier."

Lady Victorious also hugged me in return and sighed.

"Thank the gods you're okay." she said at me, with a relief.

"So," she said as we released each other. "how is your journey to the top of the Mountain Taurus?"

I leaned my upper body at the steel railing at the balcony and looked at the gates.

"The journey is fine and well." I replied at my lover. 'I prayed at Lord Ulrich's tomb when I reached there and met up with the white witch."

Lady Victorious looked at me with weary eyes when she heard about me meeting with the white witch.

"She is not that vicious and dangerous as it seems," I continued. "not like the tales and stories about her. She's kind and gentle and very humble. At first, she threw me a fireball from her hand because I was intruding her home. But she has this kindness on her heart that I can feel. She has this burden on the wrath of Darkness who killed and destroyed the town that she was."

"And why did she feed men to her domain, or turning them into monsters?" Lady Victorious asked.

"She didn't feed men to her monsters." I replied. "She just turned them into monsters because those men were angering her domain, like killing the wolves that she cared about or chopping the trees around the mountain. She cursed them for their bad doing."

A moment of silence came around us. Lady Victorious walked to me, wrapped her arms around my right arm and leaned her head towards my right arm.

"I'm so glad that you make it alive." she said at me.

"I also made a pact with the white witch." I revealed.

Lady Victorious looked at me.

"And what is that?" she curiously asked.

"I asked her to help us in defeating Darkness by summoning all her domains to the east of Exphoria." I replied. "I can see that her powers are strong and powerful. So I asked her allies for the battle."
