I Bid You Farewell

After a few minutes of standing, the pile became ashes and fire immediately went out. I, Astrid and Edward walked back inside the town's gates and the town people immediately followed. When we got inside, the town people immediately walked back to their houses and immediately find some things to make up with. I and the two knights head back inside the castle and King Thard immediately called his servants.

"Make food for the guests." he said to his servants. "We will be having our feast for tonight."

The servants bowed to their master and walked away. They immediately walked to the kitchen and asked the workers and their cooks to cook food for the king and his guests. They cooked delicious foods like beef and some cattles and immediately served at their long table.

King Thard looked at his guests and immediately smiled.

"Come and have dinner with me." the king said at us.

"We obliged." King Mortheus said at King Thard.

In the meanwhile, Astrid got up and immediately dressed up for the night. She's been recharged and very active at the moment and walked down from her chambers at the third floor of the castle. She walked to the dining hall and sat at the right side of her father. I, King Mortheus, and Lady Victorious met up with Astrid at the dining hall and immediately saw the woman wearing her white garments, white circlet on her head, and a necklace with ruby stone at the center.

"Thank Hera and you're alive, my beloved Astrid." King Thard said to his daughter. "Come and eat with us."

Astrid walked to her chair and sat next to her father, the King Thard. I sat next to King Mortheus at the left of the table and Lady Victorious sat next to me, away from her father. She looked at me and we started to smile.

"Are you alright, my love?" Lady Victorious asked at me, holding my hand.

I smiled at my Lady Victorious.

"Yes, my love." I replied at Lady Victorious. "Although I used some of my power and got some body aches around my body. But I managed to get up from the lose of my power and came here."

Then Lady Victorious moved her head to my shoulder and put her head on my left arm while holding my left hand. She then closed her eyes and smiled.

"Thank Zeus for that." she calmly said. "I'm so worried that you fight those demons alone."

Because of what Lady Victorious said at me, I lifted her chin and kissed her lips to take away her fear. I and Lady Victorious closed our eyes and immediately felt the warm and sweetness of the kiss we have and to the sweetness of the relationship that I and Lady Victorious have with each other.

Lady Astrid looked at me and smiled.

"So," she said at me. "how long have you stayed here in this land, Alex?"

I and Lady Victorious stopped kissing and smiled at Lady Astrid.

"I've been here in this land for almost seven months." I replied at Lady Astrid. "I have been practicing my abilities for six months before I go and present to the Kingdom of Exphoria my identity."

Then a moment of silence came around us.

"So," I said to Lady Astrid to break the ice. "how old are you, Lady Astrid?"

Lady Astrid took a piece of carrots from her plate and chewed it on her mouth.

"I'm just twenty years." the lady replied.

I took a piece of the bread, started picking some bits and ate it on my mouth.

"Where did you learn all the abilities that you showed earlier?" I asked.
