The Kingdom Of Yesterwood

We got to Yesterwood at noon that same day. The sun is a bit shiny and got a little hot since that the first time I got myself from this land. We got to the gates of the said kingdom four hours after we departed from Nork. When we got to the entrance gates, I and the rest of the party looked at the gates and noticed there are no stables or anything that can hold our horses as we're staying.

Yesterwood is the land of the elf king, Illius the Modest, and has twenty thousand elves living underground. Underground, as if they're living under the vast fields and meadows. The land is approximately three hundred acres and they're got a chamber for King Illius and his daughter, Mirana. They've got guards rooming in and out from the castle and also has guards looking at the dungeons and cells. It's like a giant ant house with ants walking in and out from their house, and ants that are crawling around their house.

The king is Illius the Modest. He's been the king of elves for thirty years, after he's been proclaimed as the king of Yesterwood at the age of thirteen. He had advisers on his own and these advisers are his father's advisers too. As the time goes by, King Illius's advisers died one by one and they're gone on his thirteenth year. He's twenty-six at that time and yet not that old to rule the land by his own.

Mirana Moonfang, King Illius's only daughter, is said to be the king's daughter to a human lady. King Illius met up with Khloe at the marketplace of Exphoria and immediately got Mirana at the time King Illius sneaked out from the elfish land to Exphoria. They immediately got in love and got Mirana at the fifteen-year-old lady. King Illius planned to take the pregnant Khloe to Yesterwood, but his advisers forbid this act. So he took back Khloe and took Mirana after Khloe gave birth to her.

When we got to the gates, the horns have been blown and the gates opened. We walked inside the gate and hopped off from the horses and walked towards the castle. King Illius just got a message that King Mortheus and the party just arrived and he immediately arranged lunch for the party. Then he immediately walked to the entrance hall to meet us and walked to the second floor of the entrance hall. He put his palms on the cement rails and smiled at the guests.

"Good morning," King Illius said at us. "and welcome to the Land of the Elves. Welcome to Yesterwood! And I am so honored to see you on our domain."

King Illius walked down from the stairs and walked near us.

"And I would be so honored to have you as our guests." he continued. "Enjoy the view of my elfish land."

King Illius led us to their dining hall, located at the second floor under the entrance hall. When we got inside the kingdom, I looked around and noticed a huge and long tree has been planted at center of the city and it's different to the entrance hall, which is located inside a huge building. The stairs are circling around the body of the huge tree and the stairs is the only way to go wherever around Yesterwood.

We noticed that the halls around the underground city is the underground of the Nymphus Mountain. The city is fully structured and very organized and no walls from the top fall down on the city. When we walk downstairs towards the hall, the elves lived around the city walked out from their chambers and leaned at their balcony. They looked at us and started to chatter at themselves, about us.

I looked at Lady Victorious and smiled.

"They're looking at us." I whispered at Lady Victorious.

Lady Victorious leaned her head towards me and smiled.

"We're guests of this kingdom." she whispered back. "No other kingdoms walked to their kingdom just yet. We're the first ones to go inside their domain."
