The Flattering Heart

After the little introduction, the princess looked at the corwd and smiled.

"With all the revelation our----" she said and faced me. "What shall I call you?" she whispered at me.

I leaned my head towards the princess and smiled.

"Call me Lightning Bender." I recommended.

"With all the revelation of our lightning bender," the princess said. "I and king would like to have yourself full for the entire morning. So have some lunch and eat well."

The crowd looked at the food at the tables and immediately rushed towards the tables. They took some wooden plates, some food from the tables and immediately ate them. I looked at them and saw they're happy to see me and the abilities that I just introduced and they're also happy to have some feast after the big announcement.

I, the king and the princess sat on the chairs at the top of the top stair and started to eat. King Mrotheus walked and sat next to me. He smiled at me.

"Welcome to the Kingdon of Exphoria!" he greeted.

I smiled at the king.

"Thank you, Your Majesty!" I said back.

I looked at the crowd and noticed the crowd are still eating on the floor. I noticed they're many and the food is so right for them.

"You've got a wonderful town, Your Majesty!" I commented on the king. "How did you do to rule these kind people?"

The king took a golden chalice and smiled at me while drinking.

"First day of my rule on them," he started. "I immediately asked these wonderful people about their needs and their wants. I gave them what they wanted and what they needed and they returned the favor with obedience on me."

"Do you have laws on your own as you rule around these people that they always do?"

"I do have. I already did four rules and they obediently do them."

"What laws did you have?"

"I have the law of keeping the streets around the town clean at all time, law in keeping their childrens in times of night, law in safeguarding the trade industry of the town to the other towns, and also a law in keeping the trials of convictions fair and square."

Then I started to think of a law that makes the people even more united. Then I looked at the king.

"May I suggest a law?" I asked to the king.

"What is it?" the king asked.

"A law that strengthens the bond between the town people to the king." I recommended. "And also a law that makes the bonds between the Kingdom of Exphoria and to the other kingdoms around the land."

The king smiled at me.

"I will reconsider those laws." he smilingly said.

I took my chalice and lifted it up.

"Cheers!" I said to the king and to the princess. "Cheers for the upcoming battle."

We clashed chalices and drank the wine inside our cups. King Mortheus looked at me and smiled.

"Now that you are here," he said at me. "do you have something to do or something you want to have?"

I looked at the crowd and saw a young woman at the center of the aisle. She stood there, having her head down, with her hood up and just standing at my front. She was just standing there, in the middle of the crowd, as the crowd passed her by. She smiled at me and started to grin and immediately walked out towards the crowd.
