The Big Surrender

"On the thirteen day from this day," I started. "a large hordes of orc, giants, and other evil creatures will go and destroy the city. I just want you to be part of the army that the king will form."

"Why?" she asked. "Why me?"

"As we're fighting at the marketplace awhile ago," I started. "I see your fighting skills are so impressive. And, because of that, I am inviting you to be part of the team and fight with me side by side when the battle starts."

"Do you really need for the battle?" she asked, doubtedly. "What makes you think that I will never let you down?"

"Because you're fierce, brave, and strong. And, " I replied. "I believe that a fierce person has also a kind and gentle heart. Do you have that ability?"

"And how did you know that I have that kind of love?" she asked.

"The love you have for your family," I replied. "to your friends who have been killed on your city. That makes you special. You truly love your parents and the ones who you loved most and you want revenge to the person who killed them."

Ran bowed her head and started to cry as she remembers all her friends and her family who have been killed on an onslaught. She witnessed that slaughter ten years ago and she's so sad on that time. She remembered how she cried at that time. She also remembered how that she escaped after the carnage of her family.

Then she looked at me.

"What do you want me to do?" she asked.

I walked to a wall of a house and leaned my back on the wall.

"Well," I continued. "surrender yourself and don't escape from the dungeons once again."

Then she looked at me with a doubt.

"What?" she asked.

"Don't escape from the dungeons." I said once again. "This makes you realize that your plan will never work. And, on that cell, your conscience will resolve."

"And then?" she asked.

"Wait for my other orders." I said. "I'm gonna surrender to the princess, revealing myself as the one who has the Hand of Zeus."

"Are you?"

When I heard that question from Ran's mouth, I held my right pointer finger up and exerted some lightning spark from my hand. Ran was so amazed and immediately realized that the prophecy is true.

"Okay." she said with resolved mind. "I'll wait for you in the dungeons."

I turned around and turned my head towards Ran.

"I must be off now." I said at the young lady. "I'll see you tomorrow."

"Okay, then."

So I ran towards an open alley and immediately climbed using the extended poles on that building. I also used the extended cement blocks on the other sides and immediately reached the rooftop. Ran watched me climmbing the walls and immediately saw me running on the rooftops.

In the meanwhile, the Imperial Guards walked to the marketplace when they heard that the princess is being attacked by an assassin. When they reached the marketplace, they didn't see the commotion and the said assassin on the scene. One of the guards walked towards the bystanders and smiled.

"Sir," the woman guards greeted to the bystander. "do you any commotion or a fight around here?"

The woman bystander looked at the Imperial Guard.

"Yes." she replied to the guard. "And then, they headed towards that alley."

The woman pointed her right finger on the direction of a streets where I and Ran ran into. The guard immediately looked at the alley and immediately told her superior, Sir Edward DeQuartz, and the squad immediately ran towards the alley and turned. When they reached the street, they didn't see me and Ran so they continued walking towards the streets next to the street.
