After we build the windlances, I tested all windlances with my lightning arrows and aimed at the skies. The arrows are all aimed at the skies and they're travelling to the skies with great speed. I was so surprised and impressed at the windlances and immediately taught sixteen men how to use the windlances and immediately called them as windlancers.

I asked the men to position the windlances around the walls of the gates of the town. Then I also built windlances at the watchtowers of the gates and immediately assigned some bowmen on the same watchtowers to guard the gates. This is one of my battle strategy and it really helps the watchmen on guarding the walls against enemies.

In the afternoon, when dinner came, after the hard day's work, I walked to the dining hall and immediately met up Lady Victorious at the dining hall. When I sit on the chair, Lady Victorious leaned her head to my left shoulder, like what she always does, and smiled at me.

"How is your day, my love?" she asked.

I smiled back.

"I got a little scratch and burned from the forges." I honestly said. "But I keep on forging the materials that I needed for the windlances and made them perfectly. When we got all the metal materials, we took the materials to the ground and built the windlances after lunch."

"That's good news, love." she said at me, happily.

Then a moment of silence came around us. I looked at King Mortheus and smiled as I remember the second strategy that I have in mind.

"Good evening, Sir Alex!" King Mortheus greeted at me. "What news that we have for today?"

Sir Edward looked at the king and smiled. He's sitting my front and smiling at the king.

"My lord, Sir Alex taught our men how to strengthen the shield wall that we have." Sir Edward reported at the king. "He also helped us to build his windlances and put it around outside the town wall and also on the watchtowers."

The king looked at me and started to wonder.

"Why did you put some windlances on the towers?" the king asked at me.

I smiled at the king.

"I put windlances on the towers to add defenses on your kingdom." I replied. "Your bowmen assigned on those towers will never stand against the flying creatures Darkness has on its army. So I put windlances on those towers."

The king immediately thought of scenarios that includes the towers have been targeted by the witches. One that has the archers and bowmen are fired and the other has the windlances. On his mind, the archers threw the arrows in short range and in much slower speed and got minimum damage. And the other, the windlances threw the giant arrows in greater ranges, in greater speed and got huge damage on the target, and the windlances can reload arrows faster than the archers. He's so amazed at my thought and immediately looked at me.

I looked at the king and noticed he's on his daydreaming. I immediately thought the that he made a realization about the difference between the windlances and the bowmen he just assigned to those towers. Then I started to chuckle.

"What you think is obviously true, my lord." I said to the king.

King Mortheus looked at me and smiled.

"What did you say, Sir Alex?" the king asked.

"I say that what you just think are correctly true." I repeated. "Those windlances have much more power, speed and damage than the bowmen you have."
