So I had my band concert today. It was actually pretty scary. I forgot to take a picture though so I can't show you. I'll see if I can ask someone for one. Well yeah. I was sitting on the edge so everyone could see me....it was horrible. And there were so many people, way more than all of my past concerts....and the worst part....ok, so my reed dried out while I was waiting to play, so when it was time to play, I couldn't play....like I was playing the notes and everything but no sounds were coming out, and I was so scared. I thought I wasn't going to be able to play for the whole concert....but yeah. Then I had a big rest so while I was waiting I was licking my reed so I can play again. Luckily it worked. I felt bad for my partner but he plays really loud anyway so it was ok. The only problem was that I was sitting on the edge so everyone saw everything I did. I hope they didn't notice I wasn't playing. A baby also started crying in the middle of the song and I was trying not to laugh....so I probably looked really dumb....I hope no one noticed that either. Well yeah. At least I know what it's like so I'll be prepared next time. I also put up a picture of a bass clarinet (which is what I play) in case you don't know what it looks like. Btw you're supposed to play it sitting down.
So yeah. My violin didn't come today and I'm really mad about it....like what the heck. Well whatever. I'm guessing that it's coming tomorrow instead. And by that I mean IT BETTER COME TOMORROW. Well yeah. Toots for now.
