Savy's POV

It's been about a week since we brought Bo home and it's just been complete chaos. I mean he is the perfect baby and everything it's just been hard to adjust that's all. He only wakes up a few times a night and when ever he does Luke almost always gets up with me to go check on him. LeClaire stayed with us for a few days before she went back home and we were on our own. It was hard the first two nights but we made it through and now were starting to get into a routine.

It'll just be hard when he leaves......

Luke's getting ready to go on tour with Kenny Chesney again tomorrow so he's been out doing radio interviews all day.

More like all week actually.

I know that it's important for his career and everything that he do all these interviews and going out on tour and what not, but he's going to be leaving me at home with a newborn baby and absolutely no help. The doctor hasn't even cleared me to drive yet for crying out loud.

Sure I'll have Jamie and all but she has to work too so I can't depend on her to do everything for me. I just wish Luke would take a little more time off to be with us that's all.

And then my hormones are still outta whack on top of it all do I'm just a big ole mess at the end of the day.

It'll just be hard to be alone and with a newborn baby....

I was sitting on the couch in the living room feeding Bo when I heard Luke's keys in the front door and then it open. I looked over at him and he had a huge smile on his face as he walked in carrying an Olive Garden bag. "Hey baby."

"Hi. What's that?"

"Lunch. I figured you've been through a lot lately that I should treat you to a nice dinner at home since we're not ready to take Bo out in public yet."

"Well that's very nice of you thank you."

"Of course baby. You wanna eat at the table or on the couch?"

"Couch because I still have to burp him so it'll be easier."

"Ok darlin"

I looked down at Bo and checked on him and he was starting to fall asleep a little bit while he was eating. I smiled down at him and tapped the bottom of his feet and he opened his eyes instantly and he looked right up at me.

Luke came and brought the food over then went back in the kitchen and got us drinks before coming back out and sitting next to me and rubbing his hand on Bo's head. "How did your interviews go?"

"Ehh they were ok. Nothing fancy same old same old. How was your day?"

"We ate breakfast, we slept, played for a few minutes and now we're eating again. Same old same old."

"I'm sorry baby I wish I could've been here today with you guys."

"I know but it's what you gotta do."

"Yeah but I leave tomorrow I wanna spend time with you guys before I go."

"I know. But we'll figure it out remember. We've done it before."

"But it'll be different now because we have him. Now I'm gunna miss two of you instead of just you and it's gunna kill me."

"I know but we'll video chat every day and talk on the phone and you'll come home on days off like you did before and maybe Bo and I can come out to a show that's closer to home. But we'll figure out anything else we need too, you know that."

"Yeah I guess."

I leaned over and kissed his cheek and looked back down at Bo and saw that he was done eating. I pulled him away from my chest and pulled my shirt back down and reached in front of me and grabbed the burping rag and threw it on my shoulder.
