I'm Not The Man You Think I am!

Why do you think it's me

That makes the sun rise in the morning

You open your eyes and somehow see

I'm responsible for its dawning

The tide rolls in, the tide rolls out

As the moon, it passes by

And you believe, so pure, no doubt

That I'm the reason why

I'm the gentle breeze that cools your skin

Upon a summer day

And when the cloud comes wisping in

I'm the protection blown your way

I'm not the god you think I am

I'm made of flesh and bone

I live and breathe like any man

Yet you put me on a throne

People think that you're a fool

They say that love is blind

To put me on that pedestal

Their words are so unkind

Because I think that it is you

That makes the sun rise in the morning

I know that in my heart it's true

You're the Goddess that I'm adorning
