I've pulled a double at work and I'm regretting it. No sleep and I've got a date in 2hrs. I managed to clean up well. I didn't know what we where doing so I went with a more simpler look; ripped jeans, t-shirt and my converse. I was expecting a text saying I'm here but at 7:45pm he knock on the door. To my surprise I opened it and he was standing there, grey top, and black pants. Holding a bouquet of pink roses. Little things made me blush and here I am smiling with big red cheeks. "So where we headed to tonight?" I was hoping he hadn't pick something that needed me to dress better. "Picnic, up on the rocks." He said with a smirk and a wink.

As we where driving through this part of town, I've never truly seen how beautiful this place is. A part of Vegas that I hadn't seen. Zak made dinner and prepared all the little snacks himself. He seemed nervous but knowing his personality he'd overcome it and be as charming.

We managed to to get a great spot where the view was breath taking. It was all new and I was loving it. We sat down and began to talk, and talk and talk. Zak asked me on my story and I could feel my chest burning up, the sweaty hands and the trembling of my speech. I kept it short and simple. "Home was great. Family and friends and work where all amazing but you know... Change of scenery and new challenges are always accepted in my eye." Sweet, I got through that. I could see Zak eyeing me, knowing him an empath - he knows I've got more. I quickly turned the questions on to him.

"My job is a constant 24/7 hour job. My crew is my family. As you probably know I'm haunted and being around the dead and learning about the past is my comfort zone and all I know. But to be honest, something sparked me the night I met you, Kay. I'm way out of my comfort zone but I'm enjoying it." Zak and myself sat staring at each other. Me, he really likes me!?

On the drive home we held hands and I could feel his energy, I wanted to grab his chiseled face and kiss it, I wanted to breath the same air that goes down his throat and filters through his lungs that made him breath. I wanted all of it.  He walked me to my front door and I knew I wasn't going inside until I kissed him.

We're kissing. My lips where craving his mouth, I didn't want it to end. His hands cup my face and he had me at his control. He pushed me up against my wall and my hands clutched on to his back, I traced the muscles and the arch of his back, I wanted to touch his whole body. We broke off each other and was guaranteed another date.
