Across waters.

Thirteen.

I got busy that day and started moving my stuff. Zak organised a u-haul and men to move my things. Thank god I didn't have to lift! I brought new bed sheets for me and Zak, black satin ones. I did as much as I could, I had an overnight shift to do, so I left for work.

A week slowly went by and Zak was coming home tonight! I wanted to cook something nice for him, our first home meal together. He texted me when he arrived at Vegas airport. He told me he couldn't wait to see me! I knew once he was home we could finally set up the Christmas tree. I brought a few little cute lingerie outfits to surprise him. I put the black one on and put a red dress over the top. I finalised the dinner and started to set the table and the door opened.

I was going to run to the door but I could here Zak rush toward the kitchen "KAY!" I saw him and ran straight into his arms. He caught me, and to be in his big arms and be consumed by him was the best feeling and safest. Over dinner we spoke about his lockdown and how the trip was. I was discussing work and he stopped me "what's that lacey thing?" He pointed to my shoulder. "It's probably better if I show you" I winked at him and led him upstairs. Without hesitant, he followed. As I walked to the rom I started stripping from my red dress, I threw it at Zak and he started to chase me. I kneeled on the bed and made it easy for him to see my new outfit. He crossed his arms on the doorway "you're going to kill me woman." He came and crawled on to me.

For some reason Zak was clawing his teeth and nails into me. It started to hurt. I looked him in the eyes and it didn't look like Zak, but as soon as I tried to say something we where having sex and he was too powerful to dominate. I went along with it.

I woke up in the morning with blood stains downs my neck and hands. I heard a knock at the door and ran to get it, it was Aaron. He looked concerned "what's up Aaron?" Aaron was worried Zak and how he left lockdown, Aaron told me he was affected badly. Aaron saw my neck and looked disappointed "Kay what did he do?!" I explained to Aaron that he didn't force me and I kinda started it. "That still doesn't mean he can do this!" "Aaron he didn't come back himself, and besides Zak wouldn't hurt me." We waited around till Zak got up, to our surprise he was himself.

Zak didn't notice my neck until he went to kiss me. He said nothing, he knew he did it and started to breakdown. I've never seen Zak like this. Aaron couldn't even calm him down, Zak collapsed to the floor crying and weeping. I stood there, I was shock at first I didn't know what to do. I bent down and out my hands on his face, he looked up and it seems what had been haunting him went away and he could see clearly. We held each other on the floor. Aaron called Jay and Bill, they where over as soon as they could.

Zak was asleep on the lounge and we knew we had to take to his priest. I rang work and took two weeks off. Off we headed on the road, Bill drove, Zak sitting alone in the front and Jay, Ash, Aaron and me where in the back. It was all quiet. My heart was beating so fast and the amount of negative situations kept going through my head, what if he doesn't come out of this? What if he can't be around me anymore? I started to shred a tear and Zak looked in his rear mirror and saw me cry. Our first rest break, I ran to the toilets, to my surprise Zak followed me "I'm sorry. I love you. I didn't want this!" He hugged me. I forgave him "Zak we need to be strong and we'll get through this okay? Let's go back" Nightfall fell upon us and we snuggled in the car and I drifted to sleep.
