-To Lose A Loved One, Or Lose It All-

Gene's POV:

For the past two days, I have stayed at the mansion, training my butt off. I learned how to use my tendrils, which are pretty fucking cool by the way, and learned alot of new tricks. Now I can teleport, which was the first thing I used. I teleported to my house, and told my mom I'd be staying at the mansion for a few days. Ben has been teaching me all his sword skills and Jeff and Jack have been teaching me how to 'own my combat skills' at least that's how Ben puts it. Speaking of Ben; I had no idea that his healing powers were meraculus. It only took a day for him to recover from his injuries substained from the eternal attack. School is going to be closed for a long time, seems though over half the students and teachers were killed and the school was destroyed. Remaining students, have been going to different schools in nearby towns and cities. I've been online schooling, which is cool because now I don't get homework, and I get done within two hours instead of seven. I walk into Ben's room, towel drying my hair after my shower. I wore a baggy grey t-shirt and zebra printed yoga shorts. When I walked in Ben made a sizzle sound, "I think we need a bucket of water, because you girl, are on fire!" I rolled my eyes at his cheesey pick up line: I began to brush my hair when he came up behind me, wrapping his arms around my waste and nuzzling his face into my neck. I blushed at the sudden affection. Jeff walked in, "helloooo ladies!" Ben groaned, and pulled away, throwing himself onto his bed. Jeff sat down infront of the door. "What do you want Jeff!?" Ben asked. He shrugged, "just wanted to talk to mah peeps. Homies. Swagpals. Hipsters. F to the r to the i to the end of eternity! M-AHHH!!!" Ben tackled him to the floor out of no where, and I just stood there starring blankly at them. They rolled around the floor, bitch slapping each other and laughing like the insane psychos they are. Just then, Dad appeared in the doorway, "I just informed the others, and they have all gone to bed. It's time to say goodnight. The moon is at it's highest point and we all need our rest." He said, looking out the window, at the nearly full moon. I followed his 'eyes', "that's strange, the moon looks almost red...we're not supposed to have a blood moon until two years from now" I said. He nodded, "it is strange. Of course it's not the right shade for a blood moon. Or an eclipse. Anyway, bed. Ben, don't try anything with my daughter. The walls are thin, and if I hear ANYTHING!, I will put a stop to it, and you'll regret it." Ben stuttered, I flushed a bright red, "DAD!!" I screamed. He chuckled, and disappeared. Jeff left without another word, aside from his chuckles. Ben closed the door, then climbed into bed with me. I was out cold as soon as my head hit the pillow.

I woke up in the woods. It was cold. "How'd I get here?" I stood up, rubbing my arms in an attempt to keep my warmth that was fading quickly. I heard faint whispers all around me. They started to become clearer. They were all saying the same thing over and over. "He comes..."

"He comes..."

"He comes!"

The words jumbled as they each spoke together, but not at the same time. "Who comes?" I called out. It went silent. The whispers stopped. I glanced around frantically, wondering what happened. All of a sudden, the voices started wailing like banshees. My heart started racing. Without even, thinking of it, and not even realizing what I was doing, my legs were moving. I was running at top speed. Adrenaline and fear raced through my body, mixing together, forming a pit of anxiety. I was in dead center of that pit. I ran and ran without even knowing where I was running to. The wails echoed around me, filling my ears, making me feel like they were about to bleed at any given moment. Where was I running to? That I don't even know. I didn't even know why I was running. That thought didn't even cross my mind. But here I was, running for my life. It seemed as if my legs had a mind of their own. The wailing didn't seem to follow me, it was just...everywhere, yet nowhere. Before I even realized it, I had ran into a cabin. I had already closed the door and locked it. To my relief, the wailing stopped. I walked around the empty house. It was truely empty. There were no people, and no furniture. It was dark and cold. I walked through out the empty place. There was a door that led to what seemed was a bedroom, yet I couldn't tell because there was nothing in it. Across the hall was a bathroom. And on the other end was another door, but it was closed. Again, without even thinking of doing so, my body moved toward it. I couldn't even stop myself from opening it. There, stood a tall man, dressed in armor. A red crystal, was planted on his chest, embeded in the clothing. His hair was white as snow. It was sholder length, and straight. Half of it was pulled back in a ponytail, like the elves from The Lord of The Rings. The irises of his eyes were a deep shade of red, and you could just see the bloodlust he held. Looking into his eyes, you could see his true love for chaos. Just looking in his eyes, I knew exactly who he was. I stood in defense, yet ready to attack. "Zalgo!" I gritted my teeth in anger. He chuckled. "What my slaves told me was right, you do have a sharp mind. Slender princess." I glared at him with pure hatred, and disgust, "what do you want asshat!"
