-Saving The World-

Ben's P.O.V:
I raced through the streets. I had to find her. I had to find Gene at all costs. She may need my help. Jeff sprinted behind me, his arms dangling at his sides. I could tell how much pain he was in from the grunting noises he was making. I stopped infront of a lamp post. "Jeff maybe you should get back to the man-" he cut me off, "I AM NOT GOING ANY WHERE! I am fine! You guys need my help." I turned to him, "Jeff, both of your arms are broken! You are in no condition to fight! Especially against Zalgo! He will destroy you in three seconds flat! You've helped enough, fighting Zalgo's goons. Please Jeff, do not ask me to lose my best friend just because he's too stubborn to realize when he can't fight any more." He glared at me, huffed and shoved past me, nearly knocking me over in the process. "Jeff, I'm being serious!" Just then Jack came running out of an alley, "JEFF! BEN! IT'S CLOCK! SHE'S UNCONCIOUS!" Jeff and I whipped around, almost immidiatly. "What happened?" I asked, frantic to get answers. "We were fighting some eternals! I didn't see what happened, I was too focused on the creeps I was battling, one of them threw me into a nearby building and knocked me out. When I came to, they were gone and Clock was on the ground in a mangled, bloody mess. She's still alive, thank god! I don't know what Toby would have done if she- Well.... You know! We need to get her back to the mansion!" I turned to Jeff, "I have to find Gene! Jeff, go help Jack!" Jeff grumbled, "fine." They both ran the other way. I looked in the direction I was heading. It's starting to get dark. "This isn't good..." I mumbled. The clouds were swirling near the center of town. Bolts of electricity were still coming down. Without another minute to spare, I sprinted towards the chaos. More and more debris was flying around the closer I got. The winds were getting stronger. It seemed the wind was flying around in a circle like a vortex. An eternal jumped out in front of me. I growled angrily. I don't have time for this! "Slendy...please keep Gene safe...I'll be there soon." I whispered. I took out my sword, readying myself. "Make your move bitch!" I screamed as the eternal thrusted itself toward me like a bull charging at a bright red blanket.

Gene's P.O.V:
"Dad! Watch out!" I screamed as Zalgo hurdled a tractor trailor at him. He caught it with his tendrils and threw it back, as if it was nothing. Zalgo easily dodged it, by jumping over it, and landing on top as it skidded across the gravel. Chunks of road flew into the air. The massive truck leaving a crater in the smashed up road. At least I now know that I have to destroy that crystal on his back to send him back to the under world for another thousand years. Easier said then done.

I charged at him, sprinting at full speed. He moved to evade my attack, but I teleported behind him. I used my energy, turning it into lightening in my hand. I went to grab the crystal, but unexpectidly, he grabbed my arm, throwing me to the ground infront of him. He grabbed my leg, and with a horrifying jerk, snapped it at my knee cap. I yelped as I felt a sharp pain strike up my leg. He was about to stomp on my face when a tendril pierced through his chest. He fell over me, coughing up blood. Without hesitation I teleported to my father's side. "Gene are you alright?" I held tightly to my leg, weezing from the unbearable pain. "I'll be fine." He looked at me in concern. He was too distracted to realize that Zalgo had gotten up. He ripped Dad's tendril from his back with one forceful yank. He screamed a blood-curdling scream. "DAD!" I shouted. "God damn it!" he hissed, his breathing hitched. He was clutching to his tendril, black blood oozed from his wound, soaking his hand. "Gene move!" He screamed. But my reaction time was slow. Zalgo had left a deep gash across my chest with his sword. I gagged from the pain. Zalgo was about to stab me through the chest with his claws when Dad had teleported behind him, and jabbed his tendril through the glowing red crystal. The crystal shattered. Zalgo fell to his knees. "You son of a bitch!" He growled before collapsing to the ground. I hissed and weezed in pain as blood soaked my clothes. "I-is it o-over?" I asked, stuttering through heavy gasps. "Yeah. It's over. Let's find everyone else and go home, to clean up our wounds. There shouldn't be any more eternals, since Zalgo has been beaten they would have all just died on their own. As for his slaves, they'll all be teleported back to the underworld, with him. I looked to Zalgo's body, which seemed to be fading ever so slowly.

"Gene!" Ben called out running to my side. "I'm fine Ben." I coughed. "Dude it was so weird! An eternal came out and he was fucking huge, let me tell ya! And I was fighting it and it bit my leg and arm off, and just as I thought I was gonna die, it screeched then turned to ooze! I was like what the fuck!" He exclaimed. "Well glad to see they regenerated quickly." My dad chuckled. "Right!?" Ben squeeled. "By the way Jack and Jeff had to bring Clock back to the mansion." Ben finished. "Good, now we just have to find Sally, Toby, Hoodie, and Masky." Dad listed. "I'm right here." Sally chirped coming out of a nearby alley. I got most of the towns people a safe distance away. The others are dead!" Hoodie ran to us from the East side of town, "guys! Masky needs help! The two of us aren't enough, we were on our way here when we found your mother, Gene! She's trapped under the rubble of your house, it was destroyed by an eternal and some of Zalgo's slaves! We have to hurry!" I gasped and was the first one to run in the direction of my house. Despite the horrible pain I was in, I ran as fast as I could. Everyone else flying behind.

We reached my house and were relieved to see Toby had joined Masky in removing the rubble. My mom was having difficulty breathing from the weight. "Mom!" I called out. "Gene! My hand! I can't feel it." She cried out. Dad and I used our tendrils to lift the rubble, Masky and Toby helped. Hoodie and Jeff pulled my mother out carefully. We were distraught to find out her hand was no longer there. Blood was pouring from the nub left behind. She was shaking horribly. Dad wrapped a cloth around it and tried to pull her toward the mansion. "Wait! Phill!" She cried out, "where's Phill!" My heart started racing, I started digging desperatly. I found my dad's head. I started digging faster, only to find it was disconnected from his body. My heart stopped. I frantically started digging, looking for it, "No...NO...NO...NOOO!!!" I screamed. I could not stop digging, hoping to find something but nothing was happening. Ben tried to pull me away but I wouldn't stop. I couldn't stop. Finally he ripped me from the pile and hugged me close. I sobbed in his chest, my body shaking just as voilently as my mother's was. Opi crawled out from the pile, "there you guys are." He pipped sadly. "Opi! Your alright! Thank god!" I shouted picking him up. Tears still came due to my 'father's' death. Ben pulled me away from the rubble.

We all walked back to the mansion. We were all silent, relieved yet devistated. That wasn't supposed to happen. I never imagined losing any of my parents. My heart was aching. I was just relieved that the battle was finally over.
