Chapter 31

-Happily Opi after-

Gene's POV:

Mom and Dad have been getting along real well for the past month and a half. The way she looks at him, I can tell she never really stopped loving him. It's kind of weird, actually, it's like falling in love with not so normal, psychotic people runs in my family. My mom is in love with Slenderman. I'm in love with Ben. I'm afraid to see who my child(when I plan on having one in the future) ends up with. After the loss, of my other father, and the destruction of my house. Mom and I were now officially living in Slenderman's...Dad's mansion.

Ben and I were "wrestling" in my room, when my mom knocked on the door and called us to dinner. He quickly jumped off of me. "Damn. I wasn't finished yet." He whinned. I rolled my eyes. "Let's go lover boy." I ripped the covers off my naked body and put on a pair of skull shorts and a white tanktop. Ben put his clothes on, and somehow was out the door before I was. I brushed my messy hair and walked out.

Everyone was sitting at the table. My dad was at the head of the table, my mom sitting next to him. Sally was in a booster seat next to her, Clockwork sat next to her, and Toby next to Clock. Masky sat at the end of the table, Hoodie was across from Toby, Jack was sitting next to him. I sat on the other side of Dad and Ben sat next to me. Jeff sat between Ben and Jack. Smile kept jumping up, begging for scraps. "We all know what you two were doing!" Clockwork winked at us. My face turned a cherry-tomato highbred hue. I stuttered and triped over my words, "what!? We wer- I mean- you don-don't actually think that we would- we- I was just- but we weren't actually- I mean....Gah! Whatever!" Everyone laughed, except Dad who, I figured was glaring at Ben. My mom grabbed his hand, signalling it wasn't that big of a deal. "What were they doing?" Sally asked with a puzzled look on her face. "So we have some news." Mom started. Dad sighed, "Gene...your mother and I are engaged." My jaw dropped. Everyone started clapping, and I couldn't help but smile, "well it's about goddamn time!" They both looked at me, "Gene please, watch the language." Mom said. My jaw dropped again, "since when did you care about my fowl mouth?" We all laughed. "Good point." She shrugged in defeat. The table was full of different conversations. Masky and Hoodie argued over the last piece of cheesecake. Mom kept trying to get Sally to stop playing with her food. Dad and I talked about how useless arguing over politics was. Ben and Jeff laughed with each other over pointless jokes. Jack joined my conversation with my dad, and Clock and Toby talked about their next killing spree.

Ben and I walked up to my room after dinner, being greeted by Opi. "Should I go downstairs before I have to listen to you fucking again?" Opi asked. "I smiled, "no Opi, we're done for the night." Ben practically jumped out of his skin, "wh-what!!!? Whyyyy!? I didn't even get to finish! That's not fairrrr!" I chuckled, "life's not fair kitten." He raised an eyebrow at me, "ki-kitten?" I walked over to the nintendo system, "let's play Majora's Mask." He didn't hesitate for another second. Opi jumped on my head, watching us play. "It's an Opi ever after!" Opi chuckled. I giggled, "Opi. Life is just beggining for our new family." Ben started to sing "Our house! In the middle of the woods! Our house! Has a big family of creeps! Our house! I don't know how this song goes! Our house! Too scary for normal people! Our house! There's Slenderman and his fiancé. His beautiful daughter Gene and her boyfriend Ben! There's EJ, Jeff, Toby and more! A girl with a clock for an eye and two boys who's faces you can't see! Our house! Don't forget Sally and Smile dog too! Our house, even a little robot friend. Our house! You'll never meet a family like this one in our house that's in the middle of the woods! We're one big happy family!" Opi deadpanned, "you are a horrible singer!" Ben laughed, "like I even care." I smiled, "I have an awesome life!" Just then the entire family walked in. Jack, Toby, Clock, and Sally sat on my bed. Masky and Hoodie sat on the floor next to Ben. Jeff sat at my desk. Mom and Dad stood in the doorway. Smile dog ran in, wagging his tail, followed by T and Damien. Damien sat on the bed with the others, and T came in and layed her head on my lap. Opi, still sitting on my head chuckled, "our big happy family!" I laughed with him, "you got that right!"
