-Finding Nemo. Where's Jeff? Part 2-
Jeff's P.O.V:
"Where am I?" I slowly picked up my head. It was dark. And cold. All I could smell was mildew and mold. A sharp, stinging pain errupted in my side. My body aching, all the way down to the bone. I tried to move my hands only to find they were restrained. Chains kept my arms hoisted up, against the cement wall. My vision was a bit blurry, slowly beginning to focus. Ahead of me were metal bars, from the ceiling to the floor. "Is this a dungeon?" I gasped as a seering pain errupted in my chest. I looked down. My shirt and sweatshirt were gone. My body looked brutelly destroyed. A long, deep, bloody gash was on my chest. Knife wounds covered my body. That's when I remembered last night.
I was walking home through the woods, after a long night of killing. Boy was it fun watching my victims' screams turn to silence. It was around three a.m. and I was almost home. I walked into a clearing. It was plesent, the cool crisp air hitting my face. Dead silence, aside from a cricket's chirp. The moon shining beautifully on the trees, just before dawn. That's when I heard russling in the trees. I figured it was a dear or a rabbit, so I just shrugged it off and kept walking. Out of nowhere, I felt a horrible pain in my back. A stab wound. I felt a female's breath on my neck. I went to swing at her, but she flew back, in a nick of time. She ran at me, I didn't hesitate to do the same. Our knifes clashed. The metalic sound of the blades scraping against eachother, as we fought for dominance. Knowing this was going no where, I jumped back. She stumbled, but quickly recovered. Without leaving in moment for her to think, I charged at her again, but she was quick. She dodged me effortlessly. I turned around in shock, only to have the wind knocked out of me. She had slammed me into a tree. The fight was bloody, the details were gory, but I won't spare the details. But I was getting weaker and weaker by the minute. I was losing blood, rapidly. I was growing exhausted. Next thing I knew, I was here, right now. But strangely, I do not remember my kidnapper's face, all I know is that it was a female.
I heard a door open, and then shut. The clacking of high heels, walking down a flight of stairs. From the sound of it, they were cement, just like the wall I was chained to. The clickity-clacking of those stupid heels echoed throughout the halls. They stopped. They finally stopped. Just outside my cell. I look up, to see a face I hoped I'd never see again. "Oh now I remember." I said as she walked up to me. "Hi Jeff. It's been a while." She said. "Why did you bring me here?" I growled. "Now Jeff, that's not the tone you should have when talking to your conquerer." She chuckled. "What are you from the 1700's. And that fight was rigged. If you hadn't called in your thirsty fuckboy slaves I would have destroyed your ass." I spat. "Oh please. Your just upset because I've got people to help me and you don't." She smiled, twirling a knife between her fingers. "I don't need a bunch of people who are just doing what I say so they can get laid. I work solo, and I'd prefer to keep it that way. The only reason why they are working for you is because you are a skank and they want to get up your dress." When I finoshed my sentence, she stabbed me in the gut. I caughed up blood. The splatter hit her in the face, but she didn't flinch. She just wiped it off with the back of her hand, then stabbed me again, this time in the sholder. I writhed, but bit down on my tongue, trying not to focus on the pain. "Revenge is a dish best served cold Jeff. And right now, you are in my territory, so you'd better not pull anything. And by the way, you only have about 10 hours to live. You'd better hope your friends find you in time. But let's hope something bad doesn't happen to them first." She laughed sinically, as she walked away. I heard her foot steps leave the room. "JANE! YOU STUPID BITCH JUST WAIT TILL I GET OUT OF HERE! I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU!"
Gene's P.O.V:
"OH MY GOD!!! I FEEL LIKE WE ARE GETTING NO WHERE!!!" I groaned. "Relax babe, we'll find him." Ben said, trying to comfort me. "It's been 12 hours of searching, Ben. Plus the two hours the clock started ticking. We only have ten hours left. It's been nothing but riddle after riddle all day, and still no lead!" He rubbed my back but it wasn't easing the stress I was feeling. Clock ran in the room, I found the riddle, and by the sounds of it, it's the last one!" Dad and the others walked in the room, "that's great my child! Read what it says!" My dad said. Ben and I stood up. Clockwork began to read. "It says I'm a dark, gloomy place. Full of torture and horror. Chains, whips, gallows fill me full. But I'm in an unexpected place to find. It is also dark and gloomy. A place for animals to hide. But I'm in a specific far away place. Another state perhaps. Oh, oh what state might it be? Oh, I don't know, you'll just have to guess whtlat state it is. In the first forest you see is where, I'll be.
Uh-oh. Guys it doesn't have a riddle for the state. We'll never find him!" Ben laughed, "Clock even I'm no genius, but it repeats 'oh' several times. It must be Ohio." I looked at him in astonishment. "Wow, Ben! I probably couldn't have gotten that! But Ohio is seven hours away, and that's only if we don't take any stops!" Ben smiled, "road trip! It's our only chance if we want to save Jeff." Masky sighed, "but we don't even have a car, and it won't fit all of us." Dad sighed, "well I guess some of us will have to stay behind. I suggest that Gene, Ben, Clock, and Toby go. Masky, Hoodie, T, you'll stay with me and Sally. We'll be waiting on your return. Ben, I trust you'll find a vehicle." Ben smiled deevishly, "I know just the ride!" With that he vanished. "Now let's finish solving that riddle." Dad chuckled. I thought it over, "well the first part says 'I'm a dark, gloomy place. Full of torture and horror. Chains, whips, gallows fill me full.' The only thing I can think of is a dungeon. They're dark and gloomy. And they have a bunch of torture devises such as chains and whips and gallows. They also have stretching machines and a bunch of other things." I finished. Masky walked up, next to me, "and it must be in a cave, because caves are dark and gloomy, and a bunch of different animals live in a bunch of different caves. And I'm guessing the cave will be im the first forest you see as soon as you get to Ohio." Clock laughed, and threw her hands on her hips, "that sounds easy enough. Piece of cake." Masky ran to the kitchen. "Cheesecake! Cheesecake, I want cheesecake!" We all laughed and sat at the table.
Jane's P.O.V:
"And how's my man, Zalgo doing?" I asked. Scarecrow laughed, "great actually. So the plans all set to get rid of Gene."
"That's right, though she's running out of time to get to Ohio to save her disgusting friend. Jeff will be dead long before she gets here. Of course by the time she crosses the state border, she's in for a real treat."
"Oh, and what might that be?"
"It's a surprise my fine feather-scaring friend."
"I guess I'll just have to sit back and watch the show."
"You'll enjoy it."
Gene's P.O.V:
Ben walked in. "Let's go guys. We've got a friend to save!" Toby, Clock and I sprang for the door. A beautiful red '96 Corvette sat in the driveway. "Ben! It's beautiful!" I squeeled, jumping in the front passenger's seat. Toby and Clock sat in the back. Ben climbed into the drivers seat and pulled out of the driveway, and soon we were cruising down the road.
