***8 Months Later***

                “Holy cow Maia you’re so big now!” Tammy pointed out to my enlarged stomach “Gee thanks Tam you try carrying twins!” I laughed, I got pregnant too soon well a couple weeks after the wedding we found out then weeks after that we found out we were having twins so we were taking my mom’s home since she was moving in with her boyfriend she was happy. “What you going to name them?” Kyle asked playing with James “Starlight and Daniel” Damon walked in grabbing a cup of coffee before heading out to his night shift at a museum for the time being “Love you I’ll be back in the morning” he kissed me and left “Those are beautiful names” Tammy patted my stomach “They’re going to be beautiful Maia” she said, I knew they were going to be.

***Birth of Starlight and Daniel***

It hurt like a bitch! I screamed with pain as Daniel’s hand was turning purple from me pushing out my babies. “Almost there!” the doctor yelled “It’s a boy!” Daniel was born first “Keep pushing!” I felt like my head was going to pop off “It’s a girl!” and that was that I sighed back with relieve and Damon’s hand slowly started to go back to normal “What are their names going to be?” the nurse asked “The boy Daniel Kyle McAllen then the girl Starlight Lee Anne McAllen” Damon responded for me waiting patiently to hold his babies you could hear them crying oh boy this was going to be interesting.

                Damon held onto his daughter first he was going to protect her with his life I could see it in his eyes, I held my son who looked up at me I was going to make him a gentleman. “Oh my gosh!” I heard a quiet yell whisper come in “hey Tam” I smiled “can I hold?” she looked antsy to hold her god children I simply nodded she went straight to Starlight who was in her Daddy’s arms who on the other hand didn’t want to give his daughter up “she’s beautiful Maia, she’s got her Daddy’s eyes but her Mommy’s lips and nose” she kissed her god daughter on the forehead and handed her to Kyle who stood quietly and tiredly, she took Daniel from my arms and kissed his forehead and talked about how much he looked like Damon. “They’re beautiful sis” Kyle kissed my forehead then left with Tammy to go back to be with their baby who was with a babysitter. “This is going to be a long time isn’t it?” Damon said sitting in the chair beside me starring at his children who were in their little crib like things. “it is” I sighed then fell asleep thankful to have beautiful healthy babies, the road ahead was there waiting for me and Damon.
