[I had to add something intense and interesting for this chapter or it'd get to being boring! So I think there's about maybe 3 or 4 chapters left?                 It had been awhile since I’d seen Tammy or Kyle along with James but tonight was the night I was going out to club. Maia refused to come, she wasn’t my girlfriend or anything yet but she wanted to focus on her studies so unlike me I decided to go out and party “I’ll be back later” I said closing the door, I had my drinking addiction controlled but I still liked to get wasted once in awhile and tonight was a time to get completely wasted night little did I expect a surprise later on that night.

                “What your name is?” I asked drunkenly to a mega hot blonde who was way wasted “Lizzie What about you?” she said sitting on my lap “Damon hun” I kissed her and we had fun till I heard whooping from tons of men, I got up to see what was in store a beautiful girl with pink highlights was dancing in short white shorts with a black top she moved her hips and she was familiar but who?

                I started cheering with the men and the blonde I was with went and found another guy to flirt with, didn’t bug me a bit but once I saw the girls face my whole body flooded with fury. My ex girlfriend Trina was the one dancing she saw me and I knew all hell was going to break loose. “What the hell are you doing Trina?!” I yelled pulling her away from the men crowd, she was definitely drunk “Hey Dammy long time no see?” she hiccupped moving her butt against me “Trina stop!” I shook her just to see her start crying “Why are you crying?” she went into a sob story about how lonely she’s felt and depressed so she went with drinking and wooing men, I gave into her and let her love me knowing in the morning I’d regret it all.

                “What happened to us Damon?” she asked me as she got up and put on a tee shirt “I felt nothing, I love Maia Trina.” I said sharply “Apparently not since you just had an all night fun time with me” she said leaning up against the doorframe, my gut churned with guilt. “That was out of pity Trina, not love or lust just pity” I grabbed my jacket and left slamming the door behind me, god what was I turning into? I felt sick to my stomach thinking of the night I just had with my ex, wondering what Maia was doing if she was safe god what the hell did I just do? I rubbed my face.

‘Its been said and done Every beautiful thoughts already done and I guess right now here’s another one… So your melody will play on and on with the best of’em you are beautiful … And I want you to know baby I-I love you like a love song ba-by’ Selena Gomez’s song ‘Love you like a Love song’ going off on my phone, strange for a guy yes but she requested it for her ringtone. “Hello?”

“Is this Damon McAllen?” a deep male voice asked “Um yes who is this and why are you on my friends phone?” my heart was racing with panic what was happening?

“That is for me to know and for you to never find out” he hung up, I quickly hit the gas petal making the last turn to see a door kicked outside my heart was racing so loud it rang in my ears. I got out and ran inside to see a completely trashed apartment I use to call Kyle and I’s. No Maia. “Maia?!” I screamed hoping for a reply “Maia this isn’t funny” I said hurting everywhere, she wasn’t there but there were smashes in the wall and a little blood who ever had Maia was hurting her and I knew I had to find her before she was killed. “9-1-1 what is your emergency?” a lady’s voice asked “My name is Damon McAllen my friend has been kidnapped and is injured my apartments trashed and there’s holes in my walls were her blood is, a man called me on her phone but gave no name or anything please help!” I said quickly in a panic she just told me the cops would be down in a second and sure enough they were “I don’t know officer I wasn’t home last night she was by herself studying for her class in teaching” I was pacing around “Sir please calm down we’ll do everything in our power to find her” I couldn’t bare it I had to let Kyle, Tammy and everyone else know that Maia was missing and injured. What the hell was I going to do?

Maia’s POV:

I was tied up in a basement where a cage was made for me my head was throbbing with extreme pain from the blows to the wall this man had done to me. I put duck tape around my mouth making it impossible to speak; he just simply paced around in a panic not knowing why he was doing it. I made one little noise and a blow to my head was suddenly right there.”Shut up!” he yelled “Calm down Travis” another man’s voice ran in the basement “Well look at you darling you are one beautiful rare gem” he touched my face making my stomach churn “Don’t make anymore blows to her face you hear me Travis?” he said, if he wasn’t such a dick I’d find I’m rather attractive his deep emerald green eyes sparkled, his deep black hair pulled back making his face look rather sexy he was definitely good looking.

“Yes sir” Travis left without a second thought leaving me alone but right behind Travis deep green walked behind him leaving me in the dark basement. God just kill me now.

Officer Clark:

It was one of those cases that tear your heart out when you find the body, except we had no body yet and we are all very afraid for his young lady who was just starting out her life. “Clark do we have any leads yet?” my partner Francis asked drinking a cup of coffee “No, nothing yet Sam’s tracking down the call but it’s taking forever to hear back” I rubbed my face tired and wanting to go home but with me I can never stop a case till I’ve finished it. “Clarky we’ve got a lead on the phone call!” I ran over to see a map leading to a house in the country “On it were on our way” I said as my partner and I jumped into our cop cars I turned on the sirens and drove as fast as I could to the house. Something in my gut told me she wasn’t doing well. I just hope my gut was wrong.

Maia’s POV:

I listened to the panicked voices of Travis and Deep Green talking about how the cops where coming, one of their men called them to let them know about the cops. “What are we going to do sir?!” Travis yelled pacing around “We ditch her and protect our asses” Deep Green stated running out the back door with Travis only to be pushed to the ground by the cops “Don’t move!” a man yelled the back door was kicked in several cops swarming in one man who looked rather old and tired saw me “Get an ambulance!” he yelled “Are you Maia?” I nodded then suddenly blacked out.

I awoke to Damon’s face next to me again my head throbbing “Ugh my head hurts like a bitch!” I said attempting to touch it “don’t touch it Maia” Damon said smiling at me “you’re lucky those two dimbos didn’t hurt you any worse”  I simply just nodded “I was so scared” he whispered taking my left hand and putting it against his cheek “you were?” I asked feeling teary eyed “yes! When I saw the holes in the wall with blood I was so scared I’d lose you” he kissed the tip of my fingers “I’m sorry…” I whispered

“What? Why are you sorry?” he lifted up my chin looking straight into my eyes “I didn’t know who they were I thought they were just stupid business men so I told them to go and it just pissed them off so they kicked our door open, I was terrified Damon I hid in the closet not knowing what to do.” I put my head in my hands “Maia, silly little Maia you were just scared you panicked so you hid you have nothing to beat yourself up over”

“How’s James Jr.?” I asked thinking about Tammy’s baby “He’s wonderful he’s going to be a happy baby boy”  he smiled “Maia I Love You” he said grabbing my hands “I Love You Too Damon” I couldn’t help but cry I was just thankful to see him, I was happy and that was what mattered most.
