Part 7-

**DAY OF WEDDING**

                I awoke with a start looking around and seeing no Charles’ in sight except for a tiny note on his part of the bed ‘Left early last night after you fell asleep, with the guys from bachelor party see you at the altar. Love, Your Hubby Charles :)’ I sighed and smiled slowly getting out of bed when I heard an impatient Lilly knocking on the door “STARLIGHT OPEN UP!!!” she yelled pounding on my door “I’m coming sheesh!” I ran and opened it up to see Indigo all dressed up already looking so much like her mom! “The girls will be over soon then the limo’s gonna show up and we’ll be getting ready there” Lilly plopped Indigo in the spare crib Charles and I bought just in case Indigo had to stay. “Are you seriously wearing that?” Lilly looked at me, hands on her hips shaking her head “Room now” she pushed me towards my room and sat me on my bed pulling out a decent dress that we had gotten awhile ago for Charles and I’s honeymoon.  “Hurry up and change” she was very impatient with me, after I showered I changed into the dress and walked into the living room to see all my bridesmaids and some other family members. “Hey Star!” my cousin Sandy tossed her arms around me and hugged me tightly “Nice to see you too Sandy” I laughed. “Ready to go?” Lilly grabbed Indigo then looked at me, I nodded. “Great!” the girls all helped me out of the house in a heartbeat pushing my tired and rather hungry body into the limo “Oh here we got you some grub” my old friend Tara handed me a McDonalds breakfast “Tara today you are my life safer” everyone laughed and I sunk my teeth into my food trying to keep the butterflies down. I thought while I ate ‘I wonder what Charles’ doing?”

**CHARLES POV**

                I woke up on the floor of Ben and Lilly’s living room where the bachelor party took place last night. I yawned and looked around, Ben on the stairs fast asleep looking very hung over, my other friends scattered everywhere either with a beer bottle or they were just sleeping I glanced over at the clock. 11:46 ‘Shit!’ I thought to myself “Ben we need to get going!” I tossed a plastic can and it hit his head “Damn!” he tossed back. All the boys got up took turns with the shower and brushed their teeth along with preparing their hair or just trying to tie their bowtie. The doorbell rang “Mr. Hampton the limo is here” Lilly thought of it, she rented two limos one for them and one for us guys. I thanked our limo driver as we entered it, my heart racing like there was no tomorrow. I was about to be a husband, I hope I’m prepared for this.

**STARS POV**

                The girls and I sat around or well they had me sit down while they did my hair. I looked completely different in my eyes my makeup a smoky eye shadow which complimented my wedding dress wonderfully and my hair was pulled up but not like a pony tail it was curled and it hung perfectly as the headband which was diamond leaves was placed in.  “You look beautiful Star” Lilly said while helping me get into my dress “Thanks Lilly you look beautiful too” I felt the zipper being zipped and turned to look fully in the mirror. My mouth dropped as I saw me in the gown I looked and felt so different! The gown was white of course with ruffled layers at the bottom, the middle tied back into a bow helping show of my slight curve in the dress and the top was strapless showing off my chest bones and shoulders. I felt tears form in my eyes but did everything I could to keep them in until after the wedding, I looked at Lilly her pregnant body no more except for her chest was slightly bigger. The gown’s for the girls were a light baby blue that hung from their waists and that hit the floor almost like a river she looked pretty with her light white eye shadow and her hair out and curled with a small white flower on her left side of her head “You look great in that dress!” I gave her a hug thanking her for everything when we were told it was time to go. Lilly pulled down my veil and handed me my bouquet of white roses “Well look at my daughter” I familiar voice rang through my ears as my father in a black classic tux walked up looking younger in it “Dad” I felt my voice crack as I hugged my father tightly “This is one of the hardest moments a man will ever go through” he whispered while taking my arm “I love you dad” I told him before the girls walked down and in their places. My heart was fluttering and my stomach wouldn’t stop having so many butterflies. This was it, here I go.

**CHARLES POV**

                I stood anxiously waiting for my bride to walk down with her father, everyone I knew was sitting waiting as well. The music began to play and my heart went faster and faster as I watched Lilly and the others walk down but then I saw her…

                Her face was hidden behind the veil but the gown fit her perfectly, her arm clutched to her father. When they reached me they turned to each other and he lifted her veil to show a beautiful stunning and wonderful face glowing and forcing back tears. He hugged her and kissed her has he handed me her hand she watched him take his seat up front with my parents. We took our vows and kissed as everyone stood and clapped tossing birdseeds at us as we left for our wedding reception. “You look beautiful Starlight” I took her hand then kissed each little finger as I felt her shiver “You look pretty good yourself” she smiled then gently kissed my lips as we had to wait before the reception to take our wedding pictures.

                Once the pictures were done everyone ate and then the dances were to come next on the list. I was to dance with my mother at first, then dance with Star. She was to dance with her father, and of course then with me. “Okay ladies and gentlemen please give a warm welcome to the Groom and his mom!” the DJ yelled in the microphone I looked up at Star who smiled and clapped as the song “Lullaby by Shawn Desman”. My mother cried as we danced causing me to cry “Love you Charles” she said “Love you too mom” the song came to its end and everyone clapped as I walked to my table and she walked to hers. I took a drink and calmed thinking about my childhood, I’ll miss my mom.

**STARS POV**

                He danced with his mom making me cry a little as I watched his mom cry too. I looked over at my parent’s and Jamie they all watching Charles as well. The song ended and I clapped and cried as I stood waiting for the DJ to announce my dad and I’s song. “Okay now let’s give a round of applause for the man who made everything possible Star’s dad! And Star!” everyone clapped as I took my father’s hand and waited for the song to play. “This song was requested specially for this dance” “She is the sunlight by Trading Yesterday” began to play and I danced with my father. “Remember when I sang this at home when you were little?” my dad laid his head on top of mine swaying with me “I always asked for you to keep singing it” I laughed slightly then cried as my dad did also. “Starlight I love you sweetheart” the song soon came to an end “I love you too Daddy” I hugged him then sat back down with my husband, weird to say that!

                Everyone danced then it was time for the bride and groom dance “Now let’s welcome the bride and groom!”  ‘Taio Cruz- Falling In love’ played as I wrapped my arms around my husband’s neck looking into his eyes as I let some tears fall and he wiped them away. I was the luckiest girl that night, nothing could ever stop me from the feeling I was feeling. I Loved Charles and I always will.
