I just want to say a HUGE thank you to ArtemisThaliaKatniss for voting thanks like... A lot.

"Hey, Kit-Kat" only David would continually call me that after I have told him not to.

"Hi," my tone indicating my mood.

"Whats up with you Grumpy mcgrumpypants?"

"I'm busy." I buried my head back in my book.

"What are you doing?" He said taking notice of what I was doing.

"Research"

"Really?" He grabbed the book from me.

"Hey!"

"The Nerd's Prince Charm-" he didn't finish before he had a quizzical look on his face.

Taking the opportunity, I snatched it back.

"Care to explain" he said, brow raised.

"I told you its research" I said hugging the book tightly to me.

"Oh, I get it its for your autobiography" he said hitting his forehead with his hand.

"No, stupid," I said using the book to hit his head.

"Ow!"

"Its for literature"

"Really?"

"Uh-huh"

"Research?"

"Um-hmm"

"Enlighten me"

"Its a personal project remember, not telling"

He pouted.

"Yea, that's not working"

He frowned.

"So, what are you doing for your project, Count Dorkula?"

"I'm writing a profound essay on the History of Clichés." He replied smugly.

I scoffed "Seriously the History, why are you such a dork?"

He when about to reply when Lynn graced us with her presence.

"Hello, all, isn't it a wonderful morning?"

David and I exchanged looks.

"Uh, Lynn are you OK?"

"Of course, why wouldn't I be?"

"Well, its just that, you seem, um"

David cut me off. "You're acting like you're higher than an air balloon. What has Kyle been giving you?"

Kyle is Lynn's older brother. David is convinced he's a drug pusher. Lynn is always complaining about how he's so annoying and ugly but...., Kyle is the definition of hot. Sometimes, I feel Lynn needs glasses. I mean, she likes Tod Henderson!

Lynn rolled her eyes. "Kyle hasn't given me anything, I'm just happy"

"What is the event that merited your happiness?" David pauses then gasps " wait, don't tell me, is it the Apocalypse?"

I hit him on the book on his head, again. Lynn rolled her eyes.

David rubbed his head "what is it with you and my head?"

I shrug.

David checks his watch, I hear him mutter something along the lines of 'saved by the bell'
