"I think you guys like each other." {Chapter Four}

“Well. I have 2 things to say. And you’re going to love them both!” Tad exclaimed into the phone.

“Ok…what?” I asked.

“The first thing I have to say is…I dumped Allison..” He said, sounding pretty excited.

“So that’s her name, eh?” I laughed to myself.

“Mhm. And the second thing I have to say is that I’m coming to LA on the 27th of June!” He said.

“WHAT? WHY?!” I screamed.

“Excited, huh? Because I have cousins that live there.” He said.

“Really? Cousins?” I asked.

“Yep!"

“Who are they?” I asked, curious.

He chuckled.

“I don’t think that will matter once I get there.” He said, trying to be flirty.

“and…why is that?” I asked.

“Because I’ll be hanging with you, silly!” He said, laughing.

I was speechless. He honestly thought he was just gonna be my best friend and come up to visit me? Boys are so stupid sometimes.

“Wait…why do you want to hang with me? Why did you dump Allison?” I asked.

“Because, Maggie…I love you. I want to move to LA.” He said, sounding pretty straight forward.

“Woahh. So you cheat on me…yet you love me? Tad…if you actually loved me…you wouldn’t have feelings for anyone else…and-WAIT WHAT? You wanna move to LA? NO.” I yelled.

“What do you mean ‘NO’?” He asked.

“What I mean, is that you should stay in Canada. Yeah. Your friends would miss you.” I said, trying not to sound mean.

“But I miss-“

“Gotta go. Bye.” I hung up as fast as I could. I thought I was getting away from him when I came to LA.

I HAVE to call Cole.

I dialled Cole’s number, and he picked up almost right away.

“Hello?” he asked. He sounded like he just woke up.

“Cole! Hey! Hi.”

“Maggie why did you call me this late?” he sounded mad.

“Late? What time is it?”

“Maggie! It’s 12:47am.”

“Seriously..?” I asked, hoping Cole wasn't mad at me.

“Yes! Seriously! I’m going back to sleep. Bye.” He hung up.

Woops. Maybe I should have checked the time first?…yeaah.

I got ready for bed once I plugged my phone into the charger.

…it took me FOREVER to fall asleep. But, I eventually fell asleep.
