"I forgive you." {Chapter Nineteen}

Maggie’s POV

Was this a good idea? Maybe I should have stayed and talked to Cody. It’s too late for that now.

I looked out my window. We were above clouds right now. No point in staring at clouds for four hours.

I took my phone out from my pocket, and plugged my earphones into my ears. Angel came on. I quickly changed the song, only to hear On My Mind. I took my earphones out of my ears, and shut my phone off.

I sighed heavily and looked over at my mom who was now staring at me in confusion.

“What’s wrong sweetie?” She asked, quietly.

“Cody and I got into an argument. He thinks I’m cheating on him with Cole. Tad’s the one who told Cody that. It’s all lies though!” I said, rolling my eyes at the mention of Tad’s name.

“Really? Why would Tad do such a thing?”

“I don’t know!” I said, turning my head to look out the window. I hate talking about things like this to anyone.

My mom didn’t say anything after that.

I turned around and looked at her again. She was reading a book.

“Mom…” I said, trying to get her attention towards me.

She looked up at me, and smiled. I smiled back.

“I love you, mom.”

“I love you too!” She exclaimed, smiling wider.

“So…we’re staying at Grandma and Grandpa’s house, right?” I asked.

“Well…Grey, Becky, and I are.”

“What? Where am I staying?” I was confused now.

My mom laughed. “You’ll see!”

“Oh come on!” I shouted, laughing. Everyone on the plane turned to look at me.

“Sorry!” I whispered, looking at everyone around me.

I was a bit too loud. I forgot I was on the plane actually. I’m still trying to take everything in.

My mom started laughing, joined in by Grey and Becky.

I blushed because everyone was still looking at me. Eventually everyone turned back around to whatever they were doing.

Four hours went by pretty quickly. I mostly played games on my phone, but still.

When our plane landed, I stood up quickly, grabbed my bags, and headed towards the exit. I was really anxious to see where I was staying until the end of July.

I stepped onto the ground. The lovely Canadian ground. I smiled. It was hot here. Not as hot as LA but still hot.

I stepped into the airport lounge and waited for my family.

I started to look around at all the people, and something caught my eye. Two boys that looked like Tad and Cole smiled at me.

Was it them? The boy who looked like Cole waved at me and started to come towards me.

When he stood in front of me, I could see more clearly. It was Cole! I hugged him right away. I think I started crying too.

“I missed you!” He shouted, letting go of the hug.

We saw each other in June, but not seeing Cole everyday like I used to hurts.

“I missed you too!” I said, hugging him again.
