I woke up in a leg cast and a neck cast. I saw the jungle around me. "Riley!Your awake!" She seemed so excited. "Lily!" Now I realized where I knew her from. She was my best friend! She had an abusive father, (I realized that he was abusive when I walked in ready to hang out and study while he was burning her with a cigarette.) and I had sneaked her away from her father to live with me for a couple weeks when I had a knock on the door and it ended up being someone who wanted to adopt her. 'Shawny' is Shawn Mendez. I remember jumping up and down with her, squealing, because we were so excited. "I'm-im tired, Lily." I said wearily. "Ok, go to sleep. I'll be here when you wake up.
